dCrops: Financial Evaluation of My 3 YEAR ANNIVERSARY Event Partecipation
I play on dCrops since the first season and have also participated in all the events that dcrops has organized so far.
The events organized by dCrops are one of my favorite aspects of this game which is also in my opinion the best farming game built on Hive so far.
After my participation in an event I have always published and shared on my Hive blog the financial evaluation of my participation in the event and with this post I continue this publication habit.
It has been a few days since the 3 YEAR ANNIVERSARY EVENT ended.
At the 3 YEAR ANNIVERSARY EVENT it was possible to play in one or two modes.
The first mode was open to all players and was completely free because it was enough to play the normal game activities to earn Easter Eggs.
The second mode was an additional and optional choice and also had a cost in CROP tokens = 4000.
I also chose to play in the paid mode that allowed to receive 3 Golden Eggs every day.
Based on the current market value of CROP tokens to help Easter Bunny distribute the easter eggs I spent 4000 CROP = 33.29 HIVE = $10.52
My main purchase target in the Event Shop were the Alpha packs that cost 5 Golden Tickets each.
Unfortunately, the Alpha packs sold out during the first day of the promotion, so I focused on the Beta packs.
Thanks to the Golden Tickets I found in the easter eggs I opened I was able to purchase 3 BETA packs which also allowed me to increase my CROP POWER by +6000 points.
When the Beta packs in the event shop also ended, I purchased:
- 1 Gold Ore
- 1 Iron Ore
In the golden eggs I opened during the event I also found:
- a total of 196 CROP
- 14 Pepper + 14 Salt whose total estimated value is 756.96 CROP
- 27 Mystery Seed
- 29 Boosters
I calculated the total value of only the purchasable and saleable items that constitute the reward I received from my participation in the event.
In the table below you can see the calculation of the total value of the rewards I received:
With the data I collected I was able to do the financial analysis of my participation in the event because I collected all the data to be able to calculate Profit and ROI.
Participating in the 3 YEAR ANNIVERSARY Event allowed me to achieve the following financial results:
- Profit: +1.35 HIVE = +$0.42
- ROI: +4.07%
In all the previous events organized by dCrops I always made a profit and I am glad I made a profit in this event as well but the profit was really very small compared to my previous participations.
Even if small a profit is still a profit and it is better than a loss especially if I made the profit by playing ;)
I like to monitor the value of the tokens of the games I play and/or have invested in, and I end this post with a small focus on the value of CROP tokens.
The last time I checked the market value of CROP tokens was April 16, 2024.
In the following image you can see the difference in value in SWAP.HIVE and in dollars recorded by the CROP token in the time interval: April 16, 2024 - May 18, 2024.

La valutazione finanziaria della mia partecipazione all'evento 3 YEAR ANNIVERSARY
Gioco su dCrops dalla prima stagione e ho anche partecipato a tutti gli eventi che dcrops ha organizzato fino ad oggi.
Gli eventi organizzati da dCrops sono uno degli aspetti che più mi piace di questo gioco che è anche secondo me il miglior gioco di farming costruito su Hive fino ad ora.
Dopo la mia partecipazione ad un evento ho sempre pubblicato e condiviso sul mio Hive blog la valutazione finanziaria della mia partecipazione all'evento e con questo post continuo questa mia abitudine di pubblicazione.
Sono passati pochi giorni dalla fine dell'iniziativa: 3 YEAR ANNIVERSARY EVENT
Al 3 YEAR ANNIVERSARY EVENT era possibile giocare in una o due modalità.
La prima modalità era aperta a tutti i giocatori ed era completamente gratuita perchè era sufficiente svolgere le normali attività di gioco per guandagnare gli Easter Eggs.
La seconda modalità era una scelta aggiuntiva e facoltativa ed aveva anche un costo in token CROP = 4000.
Io ho scelto di giocare anche nella modalità a pagamento che permetteva di ricevere 3 Golden Eggs ogni giorno.
In base al valore di mercato attuale dei token CROP per aiutare Easter Bunny a distribuire gli easter eggs ho speso 4000 CROP = 33.29 HIVE = 10.52$
Il mio obiettivo di acquisto principale nell'Event Shop erano gli Alpha packs che costavano 5 Golden Tickets ognuno.
Purtroppo gli Alpha packs sono terminati durante il primo giorno della promozione e per questo motivo mi sono focalizzato sui Beta packs.
Grazie ai Golden Tickets che ho trovato negli easter eggs che ho aperto sono riuscito ad acquistare 3 BETA packs che mi hanno permesso anche di aumentare il mio CROP POWER di +6000 punti.
Quando sono finiti anche i Beta packs nell'event shop ho acquistato:
- 1 Gold Ore
- 1 Iron Ore
Nei golden eggs che ho aperto durante l'evento ho trovato anche:
- un totale di 196 CROP
- 14 Pepper + 14 Salt il cui valore totale stimato è 756.96 CROP

Ho calcolato il valore totale dei soli items acquistabili e vendibili che costituiscono la ricompensa che ho ricevuto dalla mia partecipazione all'evento.

Con i dati che ho raccolto ho potuto fare l'analisi finanziaria della mia partecipazione all'evento perchè ho raccolto tutti i dati per poter calcolare Profitto e ROI.
Partecipare al 3 YEAR ANNIVERSARY Event mi ha permesso di ottenere i seguenti risultati finanziari:
- Profit: +1.35 HIVE = +0.42$

In tutti gli eventi precedenti organizzati da dCrops ho sempre ottenuto un profitto e sono contento di aver ottenuto un profitto anche in questo evento ma il profitto è stato davvero molto piccolo rispetto alle mie precedenti partecipazioni.
Anche se piccolo un profitto è sempre un profitto ed è meglio di una perdita soprattutto se il profitto l'ho ottenuto giocando ;)
Mi piace monitorare il valore dei token dei giochi in cui gioco e/o ho investito e concludo questo post con un piccolo focus sul valore dei token CROP.
L'ultima volta che ho controllato il valore di mercato dei token CROP era il 16 aprile 2024.
Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere la differenza di valore in SWAP.HIVE e in dollari registrata dal token CROP nell'intervallo di tempo: 16 aprile 2024 - 18 maggio 2024.
