My Card Collection Optimization, My Road to Diamond I league and My Latest Card Purchases
Two days ago Splinterlands season number 108 ended, and now season number 109 is in progress and will end in 13 days.
In my previous posts I have stated and shared my two current main goals on Splinterlands.
The first goal that I would like to achieve as soon as possible is a game goal:
- start the season at least in Diamond III league of the Wild Format.
- end the season at least in Diamond I league.
The my second goal, on the other hand, is an accumulation goal related to SPS staked tokens: 100K SPS staked.
The last completed season of Splinterlands was a positive season in terms of my progress related to SPS token accumulation because I increased the amount of SPS staked tokens by +2.69% and added 1502.04 SPS Staked.
Regarding my progress toward reaching my game goal, however, I registered a small step backward in season 108.
In fact, in season 107 I had come very close to my game goal:
- Rank: 368
- Rating: 3249
- Battles: 337
- Wins: 165
- League: Diamond II
In season 108 I had significantly lower game results than the previous season:
- Rank: 614
- Rating: 2875
- Battles: 345
- Wins: 159
- League: Diamond III
I finished the season in the Diamond III league and in the current season I started from the Wild Format's Gold II league.
The game results have also negatively affected the total SPS tokens I have obtained from battle victories, which after two consecutive seasons of increasing in the last season has decreased: 107.51 SPS.
Compared to the previous season, I got more Gold chests but fewer Diamond chests as you can see from the data I took from https://splex.gg/tools/rewards/season.

I am very happy to have found my first Soulbound legendary card: FEREXIAN HERO
I hope to find more copies of this card in future chests because I consider it very useful in battles that have precise battle rules.
Ferexian Hero has the Weapons Trainings ability and thanks to this ability, cards without attack adjacent to Ferexian Hero acquire half points of its attack points.
For example in battles with Rulesets MELEE MAYHEM and NOXIOUS FUMES I could place two cards that play very well in this situation, Almo Cambio and Gelatinous Cube, in positions adjacent to Ferexian Hero and I would have two much stronger cards in battle.
From level 3 onward Ferexian Hero becomes even more useful in battle because it acquires the Reflection Shield ability.
Thanks to the Reflection Shield ability Ferexian Hero would also become a good choice when the battle rule is EXPLOSIVE WEAPONRY especially when used in combination with cards with the Taunt ability such as Agor Longtail.
There are Reward Soulbound Cards that I really like and hope to continue to increase their level in the future.

When the results are positive and the progress is good it is not the time to stop but when the results even if positive have been trending downwards it is absolutely time to take action and so I have decided to continue with more speed to increase the battle strength of my card collection and today I have chosen two purchase targets that I hope will help me reverse the trend of the last season I played.
The first card I decided to purchase today is a legendary card from the Chaos Legion edition: Desert Dragon.
Today I chose to purchase Desert Dragon of maximum level for two main reasons.
The first reason why I chose to purchase level 4 Desert Dragon is that I wanted to add another card with the Trample ability to my card collection.
I have several cards with the Trample ability in my collection and the card I use the most is Diemond Shark level 8 but I don't have any dragon element cards with the Trample ability.
When the battle rule is Stampede cards with the Trample ability are really very useful in battle and if you watch the following video you can immediately see a practical demonstration of this usefulness.
In addition, Desert Dragon is a dragon element card and plays well with two of the dragon element summoners I use the most:
- Daria Dragonscale of level 6
- Byzantine Kitty of level 3
The second reason why I chose to buy level 4 Desert Dragon is that it has a relatively low market price.
Buying Desert Dragon level 4 cost me 29$ and the price per BCX I found today is a price not far from the lowest price recorded in a 60-day period (2,137$ per BCX)
I purchased it from https://monstermarket.io/ and spent 32642.95 DEC but also received a cashback of 979.289 DEC in my wallet on Hive Engine.
As a second purchase goal I chose a legendary card from the Riftwatchers edition: COEURL LURKER
In this case, I chose to use the Make Bid feature of Peakmonsters as the purchase method to try to save a little on the purchase cost.
In the coming days I will continue to increase the battle strength of my card collection through an optimization activity that consists of:
- selling cards that I do not use in battle
- selling cards that I consider useful in battle but are either too low level for the leagues I play in or have too high a cost to upgrade
- buy cards that are useful in battle and that I could use very frequently in battles.
I will share my next purchase and upgrade choices in my next posts and I will also share my sale choices because I only have 229271 DEC in my in-game wallet and 150K DEC is destined for my three land plots when phase 1.5 starts.
So I only have 79K DEC available to make purchases and upgrades and if I want to become more competitive in Ranked Battles and if I want to reach Diamond League 1 in the short term I will necessarily have to sell some cards that I use little in battle.

L'Ottimizzazione della mia collezione di carte e il mio obiettivo di gioco: Diamond I e i miei
Due giorni fa è terminata la stagione di Splinterlands numero 108 e adesso è in corso la stagione numero 109 che terminerà tra 13 giorni.
Da tempo e nei miei precedenti post ho dichiarato e ho condiviso i miei due principali obiettivi su Splinterlands.
Il primo obiettivo che vorrei raggiungere nel più breve tempo possibile è un obiettivo di gioco:
- iniziare la stagione almeno in lega Diamond III del Wild Format
- terminare la stagione almeno in lega Diamond I
Il mio secondo obiettivo è invece un obiettivo di accumulo relativo ai token SPS staked: 100K SPS staked.
L'ultima stagione conclusa di Splinterlands è stata una stagione positiva per quanto riguarda i miei progressi relativi all'accumulo dei token SPS perchè ho incrementato il quantitativo di token SPS staked del +2.69% e ho aggiunto 1502.04 SPS Staked.
Per quanto riguarda i miei progressi verso il raggiungimento del mio obiettivo di gioco ho invece registrato una piccola battuta di arresto nella stagione 108.
Infatti nella stagione 107 ero arrivato molto vicino al mio obiettivo di gioco:
- Rank: 368
- Rating: 3249
- Battles: 337
- Wins: 165
- League: Diamond II
Nella stagione 108 ho ottenuto dei risultati di gioco decisamente inferiori alla stagione precedente:
- Rank: 614
- Rating: 2875
- Battles: 345
- Wins: 159
- League: Diamond III
Ho terminato la stagione in lega Diamond III e nella stagione attuale sono ripartito dalla lega Gold II del Wild Format.
I risultati di gioco hanno avuto effetti negativi anche sul totale dei token SPS che ho ottenuto dalle vittorie in battaglia che dopo due stagioni consecutive in aumento nell'ultima stagione è diminuito: 107.51 SPS.
Rispetto alla stagione precedente ho ottenuto un numero maggiore di forzieri Gold ma un numero inferiore di forzieri Diamond come puoi vedere dai dati che ho preso da https://splex.gg/tools/rewards/season.

Sono molto contento di aver trovato la mia prima Soulbound card leggendaria: FEREXIAN HERO
Spero di trovare in futuro nei forzieri altre copie di questa carta che considero molto utile in battaglie che hanno precise regole di battaglia.
Ferexian Hero ha l'abilità Weapons Trainings e grazie a questa abilità le carte senza attacco adiacenti a Ferexian Hero acquisiscono metà punti dei suoi punti di attacco.
Ad esempio nelle battaglia con le Rulesets MELEE MAYHEM e NOXIOUS FUMES potrei posizionare due carte che giocano molto bene in questa situazione, Almo Cambio e Gelatinous Cube, nelle posizioni adiacenti a Ferexian Hero e avrei due carte molto più forti in battaglia.
Dal livello 3 in poi Ferexian Hero diventa ancora più utile in battaglia perchè acquisisce l'abilità Reflection Shield.
Grazie all'abilità Reflection Shield Ferexian Hero diventerebbe un'ottima scelta anche quando la regola di battaglia è EXPLOSIVE WEAPONRY soprattutto se usata in combinazione con carte con l'abilità Taunt come ad esempio Agor Longtail.
Ci sono delle Reward Soulbound Cards che mi piacciono molto e spero di continuare ad aumentare il loro livello in futuro.

Quando i risultati sono positivi e i progressi sono buoni non è il momento di fermarsi ma quando i risultati anche se positivi hanno subito una tendenza di diminuzione negativa è assolutamente il momento di intervenire e quindi ho deciso di continuare con maggiore velocità ad aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte e oggi ho scelto due obiettivi di acquisto e upgrade che spero mi aiuteranno a invertire la tendenza dell'ultima stagione che ho giocato.
La prima carta che ho deciso di acquistare oggi è una carta leggendaria dell'edizione Chaos Legion: Desert Dragon.
Oggi ho scelto di acquistare Desert Dragon di livello massimo per due motivi principali.
Il primo motivo per cui ho scelto di acquistare Desert Dragon di livello 4 è che ho voluto aggiungere un'altra carta con l'abilità Trample alla mia collezione di carte.
Nella mia collezione ho diverse carte con l'abilità Trample e la carta che uso di più è Diemond Shark di livello ma non ho carte dell'elemento dragone con l'abilità Trample.
Quando la regola di battaglia è Stampede le carte con l'abilità Trample sono davvero molto utili in battaglia e se guardi il video seguente puoi vedere immediatamente una dimostrazione pratica di questa utilità.
Tra l'altro Desert Dragon è una carta dell'elemento dragone e gioca bene con due degli evocatori dell'elemento dragone che uso di più:
- Daria Dragonscale di livello 6
- Byzantine Kitty di livello 3
Il secondo motivo per cui ho scelto di acquistare Desert Dragon di livello 4 è che ha un prezzo di mercato relativamente basso.
Acquistare Desert Dragon di livello 4 mi è costato 29$ e il prezzo per BCX che ho trovato oggi è un prezzo non molto lontano dal prezzo più basso registrato in un periodo di 60 giorni (2.137$ per BCX)

Nei prossimi giorni continuerò ad aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte tramite un'attività di ottimizzazione che consiste nel:
- vendere le carte che non uso in battaglia
- vendere le carte che considero utili in battaglia ma che hanno un livello troppo basso per le leghe in cui gioco oppure hanno un costo per l'upgrade troppo alto
- acquistare carte utili in battaglia e che potrei utilizzare con molta frequenza nelle battaglie.
Condividerò le mie prossime scelte di acquisto e di upgrade nei miei prossimi post e condividerò anche le mie scelte di vendita perchè nel mio in-game wallet ho solo 229271 DEC e 150K DEC sono destinati ai miei tre land plots quando la fase 1.5 inizierà.
Ho quindi solo 79K DEC disponibili per fare acquisti e upgrades e se voglio diventare più competitivo nelle Ranked Battles e se voglio raggiungere la lega Diamante 1 nel breve periodo dovrò necessariamente vendere alcune carte che utilizzo poco in battaglia.
