Peakd Adds KE Indicator To User Profile
Peakd is one of the most widely used front ends on Hive and is perhaps the most feature-rich.
For example, Peakd's editor is the only editor that has Undo and Redo functionality, a feature that has been useful to me many times because it has saved me from rewriting parts of posts that I had deleted by mistake.
In today's post I share a new and useful piece of information that the Peakd team has added to the user profile viewable at the top of the Blog, All Posts, Snaps, Replies and Others sections.
In fact right after the username and reputation value the KE has been added.
The KE = Krampus Co-efficient is the indicator designed and created by @azircon.
The KE correlates three elements (Author Rewards, Curation Rewards, and HP Held) via the formula:
KE = (Author Rewards + Curator Rewards) / Held HP
A KE < 1 indicates a hiver who has more HP in his wallet than he has earned through publishing and curation activities = a high propensity for staking HIVE tokens
KE is good indicator but everyone is free to assign a weight and value to it according to their personal criteria.
For example, I consider several elements when choosing which authors to support on Hive:
- content of posts
- KE = propensity to staking
- % HP delegate = propensity to support other authors
- level of interaction
KE is gaining in importance as time goes on because more and more projects are using it.
In fact, in Splinterlands contests, KE is one of the elements (not the only element) that curators consider before curating posts that participate in the contests.

In the beautiful project Apis.Hive is used as a requirement (KE <= 1.8) to receive delegations in HP.
Now that Peakd has added the KE it is even easier and more immediate to visualize.
Final Considerations
Everyone on Hive is totally free to do whatever they want with their HIVE, HBD and HP.
Everyone on Hive is absolutely free to choose whether to increase their Hive Power or sell their HIVE tokens and HBD tokens.
Hive is a Delegate Proof of Stake (DPOS) blockchain and the stake = Hive Power (HP) is a very important element because it measures influence in the Hive Network.
Those with long-term goals on Hive are naturally focused on increasing their HP and are also more likely to receive support on Hive
Those with non-delegated Hive Power show interest in supporting others and the ability to incentivize and support other Hivers is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful aspects of our beloved Hive!
If you have a high KE you don't have to worry at all because you can always improve it! ;)

If you are not a Hive user and don't know the world of blockchains you have two options:

What makes Hive's blockchain more unique than rare are its peculiarities:
Hive is a Delegate Proof of Stake (DPOS) blockchain on which a large ecosystem of sites, projects and communities "lives".
Hive is completely decentralized
Hive is very fast: 3 second block speeds.
Hive has no transaction costs
Hive has many utilities and features
Hive has a big and beautiful community

Peakd aggiunge l'indicatore KE al profilo utente
Peakd è uno dei front end più utilizzati su Hive ed è forse il più ricco di funzionalità.
Ad esempio l'editor di Peakd è l'unico editor che ha la funzionalità Undo e Redo, funzionalità che mi è stata utile molte volte perchè mi ha evitato di riscrivere parti di post che avevo cancellato per errore.
Nel post di oggi condivido una nuova e utile informazione che il team di Peakd ha aggiunto al profilo utente visualizzabile in alto nelle sezioni Blog, All Posts, Snaps, Replies and Others.
Infatti subito dopo il nome utente e il valore della reputazione è stato aggiunto il KE.
Il KE = Krampus Co-efficient è l'indicatore pensato e creato da @azircon.
Il KE mette in relazione tre elementi (Author Rewards, Curation Rewards e HP Held) tramite la formula:

Un KE < 1 indica un hiver che ha nel suo wallet più HP di quanti ne ha guadagnati tramite le attività di pubblicazione e di curation = un alta propensione allo staking dei token HIVE
Il KE è buon indicatore ma ognuno è libero di assegnargli un peso e un valore in base ai propri personali criteri.
Io ad esempio per scegliere quali autori supportare su Hive considero diversi elementi:
- contenuto dei post
- KE = propensione allo staking
- % di HP delegato = propensione al supporto degli altri autori
- livello di interazione
Il KE sta acquistando sempre più importanza con il passare del tempo perchè sono aumentati i progetti che lo utilizzano.
Infatti nei contest di Splinterlands il KE è uno degli elementi (non è l'unico elemento) che i curatori considerano prima di curare i post che partecipano ai contest.

Considerazioni Finali
Ognuno su Hive è totalmente libero di fare quello che vuole con i propri HIVE, HBD e HP.
Ognuno su Hive è assolutamente libero di scegliere se aumentare il proprio Hive Power oppure vendere i token HIVE e i token HBD.
Hive è una Delegate Proof of Stake (DPOS) blockchain e lo stake = Hive Power (HP) è un elemento molto importante perchè misura l'influenza nell'Hive Network.
Chi ha obiettivi di lungo termine su Hive è naturalmente focalizzato sull'aumentare i propri HP e ha anche più probabilità di ricevere supporto su Hive
Chi ha Hive Power non delegato mostra interesse a supportare gli altri e la possibilità di incentivare e supportare gli altri Hivers è, secondo me, uno degli aspetti più belli della nostra amata Hive!
Se hai un KE alto non devi assolutamente preoccuparti perchè puoi sempre migliorarlo! ;)
Non sei un utente di Hive?
Se non sei un utente di Hive e/o non conosci il mondo delle blockchains hai due possibilità:
Puoi continuare ad essere un semplice numero, una semplice fonte di dati e ricchezza per progetti centralizzati web 2.0 come Facebook & Co. senza ricevere nulla o quasi nulla in cambio.
Puoi scegliere di essere libero, puoi scegliere di avere la piena proprietà dei tuoi dati e dei tuoi contenuti e puoi iniziare la tua avventura decentralizzata su Hive.
