What Is GHAWG?
#GHAWG is short for "God's Hog: A Watchful Guardian." This fictional story tells how David Guardia, a courier and business owner from Bayonne, New Jersey, US moved into the next phase of his life after spending the final ten years of his ailing father's life helping him.

Although for The Newlyweds these are their pet names for each other, they serve double-duty as reminders of their roles going back to when they first met. |

Frank Marchenko is the more intellectual of the Brothers Marchenko, and his nickname recalls the friendly yet tough-minded founder of anarcho-capitalist libertarianism Murray Rothbard. Frank's brother, Hank Marchenko, is the more mechanically-inclined of The Twins, and he had assisted in the installation of nitrous oxide tanks on each motorcycle. Lionel Odunsi, Nigerian foreign exchange student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, had been helping Felix Legion find affordable lodging en route. In a military unit, the quartermaster makes sure everyone is issued what is needed; this is the role of "Q" in the James Bond franchise. |

| ย๐๏ธ Sanjay Rampersad of India is also a foreign exchange student at UNC. He rides a Triumph Trident motorcycle. His place in Felix Legion isn't as well-defined as that of his classmate, but he has been part of the crew from the beginning in Iowa. ๐๏ธ The modern world is so thoroughly dominated by the economic philosophy of John Maynard Keynes that nearly everyone is shocked to learn that other economic philosophies exist. One such economic philosophy is Austrian School Economics, which in fact was followed by many nations before the Great Depression of the 1930s. Keynesian Economics favors top-down command control systems, which is why it is the system of choice of both authoritarian and "social democratic" regimes, while Austrian School Economics (ASE) holds that the ultimate sovereign of any economic system is the customer or consumer. On those ocasions when legacy media needs to mention non-Keynesian economist, their go-to person is Chicago School economist Milton Friedman. After Friedman, they go to ASE economist Friedrich Hayek. Once in a blue moon the name of ASE economist Ludwig von Mises is mentioned in passing. Rarely (if ever) will legacy media ever mention the name of ASE economist Murray Rothbard, and even then it is to disparage him as an opponent of prevailing orthodoxy. This is why Rothbard's name is rarely if ever mentioned by legacy media, and why he has the name never to be mentioned. |

Story Arc So Far
Our Heroes-- , downsized, reconfigured, and rechristensed as Felix Legion-- cross into Texas and reach the "midway point" of Old Route 66, but not before passing Amarillo, Texas, US along the way.
Independent journalist Anรญbal Rivera explains his connection to David Guardia for a few zapfic entries. Meanwhile, after the daring display of theatricality in Tucumcari, New Mexico, US is done each member of Felix Legion is branded with a nickname. The next few zapfic entries cover Felix Legion riding further east on Old Route 66 out of New Mexico and into the misshapen Texas panhandle.
