What’s up my fellow Splinterlands players!
I hope all of you are enjoying the blissful winter season with your family and friends and also working well on your in splinterlands journey. For me, after a 6 days long honeymoon trip, finally I and my wife and returning back home from Sikkim and right now waiting at NJP station for our train. However, just last night another splinterlands season ended and a new one started and I hope that by now, all of you have claimed and opened your season reward chests. Well, normally I get disappointed after almost every season end and do a little whining in my posts about the shitty rewards I receive which includes full of common and rare reward cards, potions and merits. But this time however, the scenario really changed 180 degrees and brought me way better reward outcome which was obviously beyond my expectations.
Since the start of this new year, I wasn’t able to work or play regularly due to my marriage and honeymoon but thankfully both the ceremony and the long awaited trip has completed and soon I will be back with full force. In meantime, while I was keeping an eye on the crypto market once or twice daily, I got overwhelmed seeing the crypto market finally moving upwards and our hive and splinterlands has also got caught with the uptrend. It really feels nice to see my card collection price getting increased again and so does the price of SPS and DEC. While Hive is now being traded for 0.382$ per unit, SPS on the other hand has lost some value in last 24 hours and currently being sold for 0.0276$ per unit. I hope the pump continues from here but some are saying it may be a bull trap. Curious To know other’s opinion, I ran a poll in Twitter and 3 out of 4 people said it’s a trap! What’s your thought about it by the way? Let me know in the comments below.
Now, talking about my last splinterlands season progress, while I was enjoying unforgettable road trips with my wife across the Sikkim state, I managed some time in between to play splinterlands from my phone (thou I hate playing with phone but it’s still better than not playing at all and waste my ECR) and just before the season end, I somehow managed to reach Champ II before the season timer hit 0. Well, I didn’t expect to reach Champ II for this this season and just playing casually when I used to take rest in hotel room. But on the last day, I put a little extra pressure in myself and thought to give it a try if I can reach my goal tier and just after playing for an hour or so, I jumped up Champ II from Champ III! Yes, suddenly I got caught with joy and happiness because of this achievement and told my wife about it immediately. Thou she rarely knows anything about this game, she understood seeing my expression and congratulated me. She is also growing interest bit by bit now in blogging and gaming as she is watching me so I am thinking to introduce her with the Hive family and it’s various projects soon.
As for the rewards, the joy even got bigger as the time finally came and the season rewards become claimable. This time I have collected total 54 season chests which is a bit less than what I collect usually. But I was more than happy this time as I collected the amount with just casual playing and after managing the marriage and honeymoon. However, as the claim button got visible and I clicked and opened them up all at once, I couldn’t believe my eyes as I was seeing so many gold foils at once that it was too good to be true!
Sorry I couldn’t take a full screenshot because I am not so flexible in making blogs with my phone than my pc. But, I took screenshots of the best 2 outcome from them and as you can see, I got one gold foil Legendary card Harklaw and one gold foil epic card Revealer along with a bunch of gold foils and non-gold good cards from those 54 reward chests. Believe me when I say I didn’t receive such an immense amount of rewards at once even after playing this game for years but splinterlands really made my day and I experienced something unforgettable. Thank you team sl for making me mad for a couple of minutes with this exceptional reward outcome and I think I will never forget this.
