What’s up my fellow Splinterlands Players!
I hope all of you are doing well in your life and also enjoying this amazing brainstorming game in your daily free time. For those who play competitively on a daily basis and participate in all types of different games that exist in this game, I hope all of you are aware that only less than 7 days remaining only for this ongoing ranked season to end. So as we have already passed the halfway of this season there’s not much time left to reach your goals so hurry if you haven't reached them yet.
Recovering Market
Now, taking a look at the current market stats of the main 2 splinterlands layer 2 tokens - DEC and SPS, finally a while after being in a sharp downtrend, both of them seem to start catching value again. The DEC is currently being sold for 0.00071 per unit with a praising 8.5% growth in its price in the last 24 hours and on the other hand, SPS is also building a good start and with a decent but hopeful 2.43% growth in its price, it is currently being traded for 0.0082$ per unit. If DEC is about to touch its soft pegged price of 0.001$ again, then buying some DEC right now would get you a good gain but however, but it is not financial advice to do so.
Cryptic Airdrop
Moving on, if you are pretty active on this game, then you must have noticed that another Rebellion airdrop card just hot launched and distributed recently. If you are staking rebellion assets - cards and packs in wagons and earning chances, then most probably you have checked your allocation by now and let me know in the comments how many you got from the airdrop. For this particular airdrop, I had enough chances only to get 2 guaranteed cards but luckily, I got 3 cards from the airdrop and of course, I am really happy about it. The card that got distributed is named Cryptic and it is a summoner card that costs 7 mana and belongs to the dual element Death and Water and does come with a good handful of buffs and debuffs. As usual, it is also a legendary card, so you need a total of 11 BCX to upgrade this card to max level.
One Extra but No Gold
Now, to increase the chance of these airdrop cards to turn gold foil, we can choose to use 20 vouchers per card and to try my luck, I also used 60 vouchers among which, I saved 44.54 from my SPS stake earnings and bought the rest amount from hive-engine. I used Those 60 vouchers to increase the Gold Foil chance from 2% to 4% but sadly, none of them turned into Gold. But I am happy with the extra BCX already, so let’s move forward. Not to mention that even in this downtrend, all these airdrop cards are still selling for a good price which proves their real value and also, apart from being a rare and special type card, they are also very useful in battlefield as well.
Guild Shopping
If you play this game seriously then I guess you also partake in brawls with your fellow guild members and win a lot of SPS and Merit points together. Its a known fact that playing brawl is the main source of getting merit Points and the importance of merits is already known by the players of this game, as they are the only currency with which we can buy special Rare edition Gladius packs and get gladius cards. Gladius cards can be used in ranked and tourneys too, so without having them, You can't be competitive in this game, especially on higher levels. So players who actually play this game regularly and collect Merit points can buy these cards instead of just paying money and instantly Getting them.
Now for me, I also use to play in Neoxian guild and partake in brawls regularly with my fellow Guild Mates. We are a max level guild and a tier 5 brawl Player so we earn a good amount of SPS and Merit points from every brawl and not to mention we also score among the top 3 most of the time. Now I have been Saving all my merit earnings for a while and now and when today, I went to check my total merit count, I was surprised to see that I have saved a total of 56,531 merits. I wanted to buy a bunch of Gladius packs at once so upon seeing this, I immediately decided to use all my Merit points to buy Gladius packs and open them Up. The amount of merit points that I had saved bought me a total of 28 Gladius packs and seconds after buying them, I opened them all at once and let me share the outcome below.
The Outcome
As You can see, The outcome is better than average at least to me, as I have seen far worse than this, lol. From this pull the best I got were 1 rare and 2 common gold foil cards and in normal foil 1 legendary, 3 epic and the rest all in rare and common type cards. I am happy cause first of all I got a legendary pack and players know how hard it is to get your hands on a legendary Gladius card. Secondly, I got a Quora Towershade which is my favorite Gladius card in the whole collection and third I got enough cards this time to upgrade 2 Gladius cards to max level. Finally after years of playing and collecting them, I was able to upgrade My Third Gladius card to max level, so that is another achievement to cheer.
