What’s up my fellow Splinterlands players!
I hope all of you are doing well in your life and currently battling with your best in this amazing game cause only less than 1 day left for this ongoing ranked season to end. The weekend has already started for some, but splinterlands game players will stay busy until tomorrow, where some will try to reach their goal league tier or and some will try to secure a spot in leaderboard. If you ask me, I am usual playing in the Diamond league and currently trying to get myself a spot in the top 10 of this league’s leaderboard. I was playing well this season and even for a moment, I even reached at the top 1 position. But as it was still 4 days left for the season to end, I didn’t want to spoil my energies and keep playing. But as I was earning a decent amount of SPS token per ranked win, a couple of losses send me tight out the top 10. I am trying hard to get back to at least top 10 position since last 2 days and even rented some good card and bought extra energies using dec token but all my plans are failing and I am still out top of the top 10 lost and currently sitting at 12th position with only 20k dec prize share.
Well, Having another 1 day left, I will try a little more but most of the cards that I rented have been expired so there’s no good chance of me reaching back top 10 at this moment. But anyways, as my SPS staked collection is above 93k now, I am earning almost double SPS per ranked win than I used to get before the update, right now I am making around 3.7 - 4.5 SPS per match win where I used to earn only around 2 SPS before so this mew update is favoring me pretty well.
Wily Coyotian
Ok, now moving in to the main theme of this post, today I will be showcasing a newly launched soul bound reward card with you all and as you have already guessed it from the thumbnail, today we will talk about Wily Coyotian.
Wily is a common type card that recently got launched with the latest edition reward cardsets and it will very useful in micro to medium mana limit matches cause if it’s 2 mana cost. It is a melee attack type monster card that belongs to the death splinter and you can consider this as both defense and offense while Choosing it in your lineup. Let us now find more about this card league wise at below.
Bronze
At level 3, this card possesses 1 melee attack at 2 speed with 1 2 armour on its back and 3 health. But, this card doesn't get any abilities at bronze tier. However, a armour + health combo monster can be defensive in low tier matches.
Silver
When you upgrade this monster to Silver league, at level 5 this card gets and increased stats of 1 melee attack 3 speed with 2 armour and 4 health which will definitely help it consume multiple attacks before going down. However, this monster doesn't get any abilities at silver league as well.
Gold
Finally at level 8, this monsters gets its only ability - Phase (from level 6). This ability will help it to evade enemy magic attacks with the same hit or miss rate that it would apply against melee or ranged attack. As for stats, it gets 1 melee attack at 4 speed with 3 armour and 5 health.
Diamond / Champion
When this card reaches its max level 10, it possesses the highest amount of stats of 2 melee attack at 4 speed with 3 and 6 health. No doubt, for just 2 mana cost, this is an amazing card to have in your collection. It is quite defensive at max level and with 2 melee attack, it will put dent into shielded monsters too while having more evade power against magic attacks.

I was looking for a mini to Medium mana limit match with this card available to use and finally after sometime, I get a medium 24 mana limit match death and dragon as available splinters and with those 3 match rules, I decided to chose the Wily in this particular match because no epics and legendary cards will be available so the overall lineup power will be not that higher. I chose the Lux Vega summoner with death splinter and select Cursed Windeku at front and followed by the Wily, Chaos agent, Scavo Hireling, Undead Badger and Silent Xa-Vi at the end position. As the match revealed both the lineups, I find out that my opponent has used the Dragon summoner Quix the Devious with death splinter and at this front, he chooses the Pelacor Deceiver and followed by Vruz, Windeku, Marksrat, Naga Assassin and the same Wily at his end place. Now both our Wily are same level 8 so it will be an interesting match to see which one will steal tonight’s show!!
As the match begins, my Wily quickly steals everyone’s eye with the first kill , as it takes down the wounded wily in the very First round. Well, that was quick heh! As the second round begins, my enraged silent xa-vi killed down the enemy naga with fatality. No wait, did my Willy just killed another monster? Yea, it is the wounded marksrat and wily is obviously proves his true potential. Later, my Xa-Vi got a good take down against the main defensive card of enemy line, the Windeku and pretty soon after it, I won this match.
The Wily card really was a great card that I chose to use in this battle add he surely proved his worth in medium matches. With 2 melee attack and a good defense made with armour and health, this card will be useful from both ways in a match.
I hope you liked reading my post and also guess that you are already fallen love with this month as well. Let me know your experience with this monster and what level do you him right now in the comments below and I will be seeing you all in my next post.
