Good morning my dear readers of the #Hive community, happy Wednesday and happy midweek for all of you who read me here today, here as always greets you your friend Manuel super happy to share with you a new artistic post for my blog. This time I bring you a small illustration that occurred to me to start about 3 days ago, in it I proposed to create a character that was a kind of snow warrior to which I call by the name of (Lionellah), she has traveled from a very very far away place to reach this kind of north pole, this after a tireless search to find the 2 swords (freello) which are buried in this place, these swords have an appearance as if they were forged or sculpted pure and hard ice, and inside enclose a great magical power and finally (Lionellah) has found them; But her journey will not be easy, as the spirits and creatures of the snow will do everything possible to prevent her from leaving this place with these powerful weapons, even if they have to kill her:
Muy Buenos días mis queridos lectores y lectoras de la comunidad de #Hive, feliz miércoles y feliz mitad de semana para todos los que por aquí me leen el día de hoy, por aquí como siempre los saluda su amigo Manuel super feliz de compartirles un nuevo post artístico para mi blog. Esta ocasión les traigo una pequeña ilustración que se me ocurrió empezar hace unos 3 días atrás, en ella me propuse crear un personaje que fuese una especie de guerrera de las nieves a la que llame por el nombre de (Lionellah), ella ha viajado desde un lugar muy muy lejano hasta llegar a esta una especie de polo norte, esto luego de una incansable búsqueda para encontrar las 2 espadas (freello) las cuales se encuentran enterradas en este lugar, estas espadas tienen una apariencia como si estuviesen forjadas o esculpidas de hielo puro y duro, y en su interior encierran un gran poder mágico y por fin (Lionellah) las ha encontrado; pero su travesía no será nada fácil, ya que los espíritus y criaturas de la nieve harán todo los posible por evitar que salga de este lugar con estas poderosas armas, incluso si tienen que acabar con ella:

To begin with, I got down to work to create a good sketch, in this case as you can see I drew (Lionellah) in a kind of battle pose or on guard to face the snow creatures that are approaching to tear her apart. For the skin work I used a base of light violet tones trying to establish the basic shadows and lighting in high areas, here I relied heavily on the watercolor brush to define better areas such as the nose, eyelids and others, while at the same time I was blurring and blending everything in a more natural way giving that realism that I like so much.
Para empezar, me puse manos a la obra para crear un buen boceto, en este caso como podrán apreciar dibuje a (Lionellah) en una especie de pose de batalla o en guardia para enfrentarse a las criaturas de las nieves que se acercan a despedazarla. Para el trabajo de la piel utilice una base de tonos un poco violetas claros tratando de establecer las sombras básicas y la iluminación en zonas altas, aquí me apoye mucho del pincel de acuarela para definir mejores zonas como la nariz, parpados y demás, mientras al mismo tiempo iba difuminando y mezclando todo de manera más natural dando ese realismo que tanto me gusta.
Then for the eye work I opted for a palette of colors a little more bluish, with a light blue try to create an intense and cold look with lots of shine, something important is to place the glitter at the top to achieve that oval appearance in the eyes; and for the lips I opted for soft reddish tones alternating a little with violet tones also very opaque. The work of the hair was done using intermediate lilac and violet tones, here I was in charge of building a short hair, but with some volume to the sides, leaving of course some loose strands in the part of the forehead. In the case of clothing I opted for an outfit with a medieval style, with blue tones I created a pair of pants a little loose with several pleats, and for the torso I created a nightgown equally loose and with long sleeves.
Después para el trabajo de ojos opte por una paleta de colores un poco más azulados, con un azul celeste trate de crear una mirada intensa y fría con mucho brillo, algo importante qui es colocar los brillos en la parte de arriba para logra esa apariencia ovalada en los ojos; y para los labios opte mas por tonos rojizos suaves alternando un poco con tonos violeta también muy opacos. El trabajo de la cabellera lo realice usando tonos lila y violeta intermedios, aquí me encargue de construir una cabellera corta, pero con cierto volumen hacia los lados, dejando por su puesto algunos mechones sueltos en la parte de la frente. En el caso de la ropa opte por una indumentaria con estilo un poco medieval, con tonos azules cree un pantalón un poco holgado con varios pliegues, y para el torso cree un camisón igualmente holgado y de mangas largas.
To create the swords my idea was to give the sensation that these were made of rigid ice, for this I formed the blades with varied blue tones approaching the lightest blue I could, the idea here is to go forming the different faces of the sword and closing a little the strokes at the tip to give it an even sharper appearance; finally I took a fine brush and with a white color I gave some reflective glitter to the sword and a kind of icy and cold magic aura covering both swords. In the case of the background I created some mountains of ice in the distance forming a kind of road or path to the bottom that of course gave more depth to the illustration; with a particular brush I created a small effect of snow rain or icy blizzard all over the canvas.
Para crear las espadas mi idea era que diera la sensación de que estas estaban hechas de hielo rígido, para esto forme las hojas con tonos azules variados acercándome al azul mas claro que pude, la idea aquí es ir formando las diferentes caras de la espada y cerrando un poco los trazos en la punta para darle una apariencia aun mas afilada; finalmente tome un pincel fino y con un color blanco le di cierto brillos reflectantes a la espada y una especie de aura mágica gélida y fría a cubriendo ambas espadas. En el caso del fondo cree algunas montañas de hielo a la distancia formando una especie de camino o sendero hasta el fondo que por supuesto dieran mas profundidad a la ilustración; con un pincel de particular cree un pequeño efecto de lluvia de nieve o ventisca helada por todo el lienzo.
