Today I come to present a new participation for the dynamics of this new week of my dear friends of the #Splinterlands community, which as many already know invite us to make an illustration of some of the various characters of their card game which is one of the most famous in the ecosystem of #Hive. The card or rather the character I decided to choose to illustrate this time was (Lux Vega), which is a kind of sorceress or priestess with amazing magical powers, and which is said to have been personally trained by (Malric Inferno) the specter of fire; and well I hope you like it and here I will show you a little of the creation process:
El día de hoy les vengo a presentar una nueva participación para la dinámica de esta nueva semana de mis queridos amigos de la comunidad de #Splinterlands, que como muchas ya sabrán nos invitan a realizar una ilustración sobre algunos de los variados personajes de su juego de cartas el cual es de los mas famosos dentro del ecosistema de #Hive. La carta o mejor dicho el personaje que decidí elegir para ilustrar esta vez fue (Lux Vega), la cual es una especie de hechicera o sacerdotisa con asombrosos poderes mágicos, y de la cual se dice fue entrenada personalmente por (Malric Inferno) el espectro de fuego; y bueno espero les guste y aquí les mostrare un poco del proceso de creación:

As usual in all my illustrations the first thing I always like to do is to take my time to make a good sketch where I can capture most of the characteristics of the characters, in this case I drew (Lux Vega) with a semi full body structure, while holding several cards in his hand several magic cards. For the skin work I decided to use a little softer tones like a light salmon mixed with some brown tones that would allow me to create good shadows and at the same time a good volume that would give that realistic feeling.
Como es de costumbre en todas mis ilustraciones lo primero que siempre me gusta hacer es tomarme mi tiempo para realizar un buen boceto donde pueda plasmar la mayoría de las características de los personajes, en este caso dibuje a (Lux Vega) con una estructura de cuerpo semi completo, mientras sostiene varias cartas en su mano varias cartas mágicas. Para el trabajo de la piel decidí usar tonos un poco mas suaves como un Salmon claro mezclando con algunos tonos un poco mas marrones que me permitiesen crear buenas sombras y al mismo tiempo un buen volumen que diera esa sensación realista.
For the eyes I wanted to play a bit with blue tones for the base, and for the inner part of the iris I used light blue tones to complement the layers below, and in the case of the lips I tried a bit more violet tones to complement a bit with her outfit. For the hair painting I decided to take the watercolor brush and paint a little long and slightly wavy hair, here I mostly used the watercolor brush to give shape to the strands and above all to give a shiny touch to the hair.
Para el apartado de los ojos quise jugar un poco con los tonos azules para la base, y para la parte interna del iris usé unos tonos azules celestes que complementaran con las capas de abajo, y en el caso de los labios probé unos tonos un poco más violetas que se complementaran un poco con su vestimenta. Para el pintado del cabello decidí tomar el pincel acuarela y pintar una cabellera un poco larga y levemente ondulada, aquí en su mayoría usé el pincel acuarela para dar forma a los mechones y sobre todo para darle un toque brillante al pelo.
The first thing I did was to take a couple of purple tones to create some areas of fabric in the neck and sleeves with a little transparency; then with some yellow tones I worked the torso trying to create a kind of rigid corset of gold, and for the shoulder area I did a similar process, but without blurring or polishing so much. In the case of the letters I decided to use reddish and brown tones to give them a leather-like appearance with golden edges and details of blue and red gems; then to achieve that magical effect I took a rough brush and created some thin and long waves of energy that gave that magical effect to the work.
La creación del atuendo creo que fue en lo que mas me demoré, lo primero que hice fue tomar un par de tonos morados para ir creando algunas zonas de tela en el cuello y las mangas con un poco de transparencia; luego con algunos tonos amarillos trabajé la parte del torso tratando de crear una especie de corsé rígido de oro, y para la zona del hombro hice un proceso similar, pero sin difuminar o pulir tanto. En el caso de las cartas decidí usar tonos rojizos y marrones para darles una apariencia como de cuero con bordes dorados y detalles de gemas azules y rojas; luego para lograr ese efecto mágico tome un pincel rugoso y cree unas delgadas y largas ondas de energía que dieran ese efecto mágico a la obra.
