Bridge Park: The Not-So-Usual Park!πΆββοΈ
Hello dear hivers, I am @marfeatures, and I am back with a new blog. How are you? I hope you are all doing good. For today's "blogserye" (blog series), I will be featuring a quick escape at a nearby park at Marcelo Fernan Bridge with my friend. Come join me as I share here with you my experiences and how our night turned out.
It was Sunday; no work yet; I have a review session to attend. My friend asks me if I can come with her somewhere to stroll. I immediately declined the offer since I have a scheduled review; I just have a deal with her that, after the review, maybe I can go with her. Tik tak tik tak, passed are the times; the review was over. I immediately packed my things and got ready to go with my friend. By the way, I don't have a clue where we should go; it just slipped out of my mind. I forgot to ask her where on earth we are strolling. Hahahah.
Later on, she told me that we will be strolling at a nearby park below a bridge. I said what? A park below the bridge? That must be insane, or you must be insane, I told her. See it for yourself, she replied. When we were about to arrive at the bridge, I was still so hesitant. I told myself maybe she was just joking and playing fun of me. But as we went through, a beautiful scenery stumbled upon my eyes.
I never thought that below a bridge lies a beautiful and well-maintained park like this. It is located below the Marcelo Fernan Bridge. I was so overwhelmed with what I saw. "I told you," my friend teases me. Okay, you're right, hahah, I replied. I can't help but be mesmerized by how the **** is it possible that a supposed-to-be-less-attractive area (I don't know how to describe a place below a bridge) turned into a beautiful space perfect for strolling and relaxing.
You can do a picnic here; we must bring our other friends here, I told her. It is a perfect place to relieve your stress and relax even for a while. My exhaustion from the review was gone after we went to the place; it offers a unique way to enjoy a park since it is unusual to put a park below a bridge, but this initiative is commendable.
I can't help but pose in every corner I find worthy of taking pictures. We posed for a moment of selfies and took turns taking pictures of ourselves. I came across this Lapu Lapu painting, the hero of the Battle of Mactan; it's the symbol of Lapu Lapu City. Overall, it was a nice experience. I got to relax for a moment, which is a good thing because I've had stressful weeks lately. I highly recommend the place to anyone who seeks a good place to relax.
