Heyo people of steemit!! I finally finished the illustration from the previous post!

So about the characters! (just a lil gist of it)
You can clearly see it in their faces xD James is like the cool/chill one and Jamie is the cheerful/outgoing one!
They are brothers almost like twins! Even though they don't seem to get along, they always have each other's back!

(maybe you can give them a cool back story? Hehe maybe I can use em!)

P.S. someone said they look like Ben from Ben10 xD I didn't even realize haha

So this was the sketch. Before I even came up with this final sketch, I needed to come up with the character design. I just doodled a bit in my sketch pad over and over again haha. But I eventually drawn something I liked thus the birth of these characters x) (at first it was supposed to be only 1 OC but then it struck me! "why not give him a brother?" so I did! Haha It was a great decision)

Lineart! This took me a while because the legs looked wrong xD it was too short and didn't look right. (sorry, I don't know the anatomy xD) after all those leg redraws... i managed to make it look decent! So that was good!

Deciding on what colors the characters should be. The way I do this is just straight up coloring the lineart and just put on colors I think would suit the characters. Nothing cool but coming up with the colors took me some time haha. Tbh I'm not really good at color combinations so it was a bit of a struggle to pick colors that would suit the characters. But again... I managed to pick colors that I think looks okay on them!

Adding flat colors. This was easy! I just used the select all tool and fill tool. I just added the flat colors for the whole drawing (background not included)

The two images above I just added a bit of shading and highlight! Just some random shading and highlight to places that needed them. ;))

The last thing I did was adding a background and text! I kinda had trouble with the background 'cause I myself am not great with those xD haha I mostly do random/simple backgrounds. And that ends how I did this illustration :))
