It was a Monday morning, one of those mornings that you don't want to get up from the bed, I was barely awake when I heard a sound at my doorstep, it wasn't a knock or of footsteps, I was curious, I opened the door, and saw it on the floor " a package " it had no address or name, it was just there and no one was in sight.
I felt somehow at first, who leaves something without a traceable clue. But, curiosity took over, I took it inside, it was very light, I even thought it was empty. Still, I need to open and know if its really empty.
When I finally opened them, I found something unexpected, dozens of letters, all sealed with my name in each of them, I picked at random and read.
Dear Milliracle,
I know you’ve been doubting yourself lately. I see how you give so much to others, inspiring them to believe and push through, yet sometimes you don’t practice same on yourself. You are stronger than you think. Your kindness is not a weakness.

I sank to the floor, clutching the paper like it held my soul. Memories flooded back, days and nights that I have spent encouraging people to push through, to rebuild shattered dreams, to embrace their flaws. I always thought I was just doing what felt right. I never imagined anyone noticed. I kept on reading through the sealed letters.

Your voice matters, it strikes, you may not see it, but it does breathes life, it lifts souls, you are really an inspiration, so dont stop.

I blinked back tears, ain't sure whether to laugh or cry. Me, my voice? making an impact?. Who could have known I needed to hear that today of all days?
And one after the other, I opened the letters, and with each I opened more of myself, my underestimated strength and all. Some of those letters recalled how I motivated people to embrace their struggles and grow through them, some spoke of how I advised on relationships and academics, and some on how I help people find their voice.

Your ability to see beauty even in broken places is rare, don’t lose it.

It looks as if these box had collected every of the things I had impacted and wrapped them in handwritten affirmations.
I always preached self-love, healing, and authenticity, I remind others that it’s okay to feel, to be vulnerable, to take a break. Yet, I didn't practice it myself. I have encourage people to chase their dreams, yet I doubt mine, countless times I have helped relationships work, but here I am, mine is crumbling, while all think mine is rosy and lovely, I had uplift people and here I am shrinking.
I kept on reading and reading, and then this was the last, and it for to me...differently.
Dear Milliracle,
You are human, you can be tired, don’t always be the strong one. I know you feel the weight of being others source of hope, and most times, you get drained, you question and all. But then, your worth isn’t tied to how much you give. It’s rooted deeply in who you are, you are real, passionate, flawed, and endlessly giving. Make sure to make time for yourself too.Your story isn’t just yours, keep moving forward, even when the path is blurry. Keep on sharing your truth. Keep on motivating, guiding, and loving. But then, don’t forget to nurture that heart of yours that gives so much to the world. You deserve that care too.

I couldn't stop the tears, I never spoke about that exhausting part that comes from pouring into others while leaving myself empty. Maybe I thought admitting it would somehow make me weaker or less dependable.
I closed the box gently, I thought about it, but then, it didn’t matter where it came from or who sent it. The message was clear. That box was more than just letters, it was a wake-up call. A reminder that I didn’t always have to be strong, that it was okay to need encouragement too and that I had the power to affirm myself, just as I did for others.
Sometimes, we forget that we deserve the same kindness we give. And sometimes, the universe finds a way to remind us, to help us, to encourage us and maybe it had decided to do that with a mysterious box on my doorstep.
