Bracelet: Woods and Puccas (esp/eng)

¡Hola mis queridos hivers! Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi más reciente diseño, esta vez se trata de una pulsera con vibras playeras, sí, una hermosa pulsera con cuentas de madera y pucas cuadradas, por si no las conocen (o recuerdan), son esas conchitas de mar blancas con textura que se me hacen súper lindas y espero que a ustedes también. Así que revisando entre mis materiales de trabajo elegí estos elementos como protagonistas de mi creación, una propuesta fresca, divertida y versátil pero sin perder la elegancia y feminidad y por supuesto, cargada de creatividad deseos de que visitemos una playa pronto (risas).

Hello my dear hivers! Today I want to share with you my latest design, this time it's a bracelet with beach vibes, yes, a beautiful bracelet with wooden beads and square puccas, in case you don't know them (or remember), they are those little white sea shells with texture that I think are super cute and I hope you do too. So going through my work materials I chose these elements as the protagonists of my creation, a fresh, fun and versatile proposal but without losing the elegance and femininity and of course, full of creativity and wishes that we will visit a beach soon (laughs).

Materiales:

• Pucas cuadradas blancas
• Cuentas redondas de madera
• Cuentas cilíndricas de madera
• Balines dorados
• Nilón elástico

Procedimiento:

Inicio colocando sobre mi superficie de trabajo todos los distintos tipos de cuentas que utilizaré para poder establecer el patrón central que irá en la parte superior de la pulsera y termino decidiendo por el que pueden ver en la siguiente imagen:

Materials:

• White square puccas
• Round wooden beads
• Cylindrical wooden beads
• Golden pellets
• Elastic nylon

Procedure:

I start by placing on my work surface all the different types of beads that I will use in order to establish the central pattern that will go on the top of the bracelet and end up deciding on the one you can see in the following image:

Entonces introducimos el nilón elástico a través de un cilindro de madera (que por cierto me encanta este tono de marrón), seguido de una cuenta redonda también de madera y un balín dorado.

Then we introduce the elastic nylon through a wooden cylinder (which by the way I love this shade of brown), followed by a round bead also made of wood and a golden ball.

Ahora, añadimos lo que marcará la diferencia en este diseño y te hará resaltar sin duda alguna: 5 pucas cuadradas blancas (¡amo como se ve!). Entonces agregarás un balín dorado y repetirás este paso hasta obtener 3 juegos de 5 pucas separados por un balín dorado cada juego.

Now, we add what will make the difference in this design and make you stand out without a doubt: 5 white square puccas (I love how it looks!). Then you will add a golden ball and repeat this step until you get 3 sets of 5 puccas separated by a golden ball each set.

Cerramos entonces esta sección de manera simétrica con el inicio del diseño, añadiendo un balín dorado, una cuenta redonda de madera y un cilindro de madera.

We then close this section symmetrically with the beginning of the design, adding a golden ball, a round wooden bead and a wooden cylinder.

Recordemos que lo que hemos hecho en los pasos anteriores corresponde al centro de la pulsera, me gusta hacerlo de esa forma porque siento que así puedo mantener más fácilmente la simetría. Así que es momento de completar el resto de la longitud de la pulsera y para ello emplearemos más de estas cuentas redondas de madera:

Remember that what we have done in the previous steps corresponds to the center of the bracelet, I like to do it that way because I feel that way I can more easily maintain symmetry. So it's time to complete the rest of the length of the bracelet and for that we will use more of these round wooden beads:

El patrón será, 5 cuentas redondas de madera, seguidas de un balín dorado y luego 4 cuentas redondas de madera, esto lo haremos en ambos extremos del nilón para que todo sea simétrico, solo que además, en uno de los lados debemos finalizar con un balín dorado que servirá como pasador entre las cuentas de madera de un lado y las del otro y así todo se vea más bonito.

The pattern will be, 5 round wooden beads, followed by a golden ball and then 4 round wooden beads, we will do this at both ends of the nylon so that everything is symmetrical, only that in addition, on one side we must finish with a golden ball that will serve as a pin between the wooden beads on one side and the other and so everything looks nicer.

Y como ya está terminada, anudamos haciendo un par de nudos sencillos seguido de un nudo en el que ambos extremos del nilón pasen por el ojal. Apretamos muy bien y cortamos el excedente y listo.

And as it is already finished, we tie a couple of simple knots followed by a knot in which both ends of the nylon pass through the eyelet. Tighten very well and cut off the excess and that's it.
