I thought it maybe a good time to mention that current card prices per $ is near its lowest in a while. Whether or not players and investors will want to take advantage with these prices will be their own choice.
Chaos Set
To date a max Chaos set is under $4,400 based on Splintercards.com. However over on monstermarket.io with the actual cards that are on market the total comes closer to $5k.
It gets interesting if you look at Chaos rewards set.
For under $200 one can get the set of rewards cards at max level. This is tempting me to making a purchase for a full set even though I have most of them already lol.
With presale over the in game tokens DEC and SPS has been falling in value. This has caused the card prices to fall too. It make sense since the rewards earned would technically be less. The big question then is how much or if the token prices would continue to fall further?
It is difficult to say but if I had to guess there could be a continuation in price drop as prices are trending down.
Update on the Airdrop SPS
As mentioned in my post yesterday I had purchased some Tower Defense packs because I wanted to earn some SPS passively. Interesting each pack I am holding is yielding about 0.13 SPS a day which comes out to less than $0.01. The ROI would be about 404 days to earn the same amount of SPS in $ as it cost me to get the pack. This does not look like a great investment but considering I do not have to do anything besides holding the pack and the pack itself will have cards worth some value I think the overall investment is very reasonable. In addition the cost per a pack could potentially still drop since one can purchase it through out market where price fluctuates.
It has been around 6 Hives a pack on average but some days could get luck and get it as low as 5 Hives.
