Glad to be here this time around after so many weeks of absence and now it feels good to come back here and talk about music. What is the topic for the initiative this week, we are dwelling on understanding music consumptions patterns and when we talk about music consumption, we are talking about the way different people learn or assimilate music or let me put it like this "The way different people interact with music" and in respect to that, there are some ways i know of and i have also been in that situation before.

We have different ways we acces things just like social media having different type and any one that suit you or like best, you go for it. we have youtube, whatsapp, facebook, instagram and so on so that alone shows that music can actually be seen anywhere through different medium now the big question is how people relate with music even when they get accces to it. At first, i always love to stay on social media just to have access to different musical content and that made choose my first option for interacting with music.

Offline and Online

It might look odd saying offline and online and many would think how is the offline possible but i will explain more as we go. Have you ever heard of streaming online, most prefer to stream music online due to the fact that it might be convinient for them and they might be a fast learner who would not want to go back to that space again and now prefer to stream and understand everything, also some believe streaming online is the best as that will save downloading space on the phone or any of the accessories.

For the offline, I am definitely talking about downloading just as we have streaming, we have downloading also which most prefer as that will make them have acces to the music anytime and any day at their own spare period or convinency.

Having a Playlist of Song

Another aspect of interacting with music is having a preffered playlist and this goes with having a favourite artiste which they love listening to, so they prefer to have a playlist of the artiste song and then to have easy acces to those song, a playlist is required and that gave them free checkin. Music is actually nice to check in.

Another way of interacting with music which i believe this is obe of the best is through social gatherings or let me just say social influence. I have seen a lot of peopel who do not like a certain song when it was first released but when they constantly listen to it from their friends playing it everytine around them even though it might not be on their phone, they always get to access it any-time they are around friends and that alone made them more in love with that certain song.

It start ringing in the head anytime they are alone and that is how they just naturally love the song.

Mood

This is another most use to interact with music because they decide to check music based on the way they feel at that moment either happy or sad and trust me, there is always music to back up the kind of mood anyone is going through at that moment. Music is the best and i will always say that it is therapeutic.
