I have shared my recipe with you all about green smoothies several times and this time I will share again green smoothies with different ingredients but still have a delicious taste without having to mix it with granulated sugar or other sweeteners. And in this recipe I will use my own Pagoda mustard greens that I successfully harvested from behind my house.
And in making this smoothie I need some supporting ingredients, namely:
1. 1 apple
2. Kasturi Orange (if you don't have this orange, it doesn't matter if you don't use it, but because this Kasturi orange is in my yard and it's a shame if you don't use this orange which has a fragrant aroma and a fresh sour taste. It's much tastier than lemon and in this recipe I use 3 Kasturi Oranges)
3. Pagoda Mustard Greens (I didn't weigh my pagoda mustard greens, in this recipe I only estimated the weight to be no more than 100 grams, because I only used the leaves and I chose small and not too big pagoda mustard greens)
4. 1 glass of water
And how to make this smoothie, it doesn't matter whether you use a slow juicer or a blender, it all depends on your taste. If anyone wants to say that a slow juicer is better than a blender, that's their right. But I prefer using a blender because I also want the fiber so I prefer smoothies over juice.
And to make this smoothie I do the following steps:
1. First of all I soak the mustard greens in salt water, but before I soak them. I have washed the mustard greens first because I am worried that there are small animals or worms that live so that by soaking them in salt water the animals will come out. After soaking them in salt water, I cut the mustard greens into pieces and put them in a blender and in this recipe I only use the leaves
2. After that I cut the apple into pieces and put them in a blender but before that I washed them and removed the seeds, but I didn't peel the skin.
3. After that I put in the squeezed lime juice
4. And finally I mixed the water into it
5. And I blended it until smooth
6. The smoothie is ready to be enjoyed. You can add ice cubes if you want, but I prefer to drink it fresh like that without sugar and added ice.
