January is about to end and this is a good opportunity to stop by, first of all to say hello and wish you well and then to share with you a recipe for medicinal tea, as part of the #januaryinleo initiative and I am happy to accept this invitation.
I had chamomile flowers at home, I always try to have it for any stomach upsets or when there is trouble sleeping, even when I have one of those flus that hurts my soul, ummm and I think it is not well known for being used for flu ailments, so tell me over here if I am wrong.

Enero está a punto de terminar y es propicia la ocasión , en primer lugar para saludarlos y desearles que estén bien y luego para compartir con ustedes una receta de un Té medicinal, como parte de la iniciativa de #januaryinleo y de la cual me siento contenta de aceptar esta invitación y estar escribiendo en la comunidad nuevamente,
Tenía flores de manzanilla en casa , siempre trato de tenerla por cualquier malestar de estómago o cuando hay problemas para dormir, incluso cuando tengo una de esas gripes que me duele hasta el alma , ummm y creo que no es muy conocida por usarse en los malestares gripales, así que díganme por aquí si estoy equivocada.
It also had turmeric in it, so I did a bit more research on the internet and read that they can be combined, not bad I thought! It would be a double analgesic effect ideal for inflammation, which was perfect for me because I have some muscle aches hahaha and it's not like there are 20 of them.
And not to mention that it is highly recommended when we go through those episodes of stress and anxiety and more in these times when the pace of life overwhelms us, it is always good to have it in the pantry.
I used cinnamon, which is also anti-inflammatory, and lemon to provide a rich citrus flavour, now, let's talk about quantities:
Además tenía cúrcuma así que investigue un poco mas en internet y leí que se pueden combinar , nada mal pensé ! sería un doble efecto analgésico ideal para inflamaciones , lo cual me vino perfecto porque tengo algunos dolores musculares jajajaj y es que ya no son 20 .
Y sin mencionar que es muy recomendable la manzanilla cuando pasamos por esos episodios de estrés y ansiedad y más en estos tiempos en los que el ritmo de vida nos agobia, siempre es bueno tenerla en la despensa.
Usé canela que también es anti- inflamatoria y limón para aportar un rico sabor cítrico y ahora si, vamos con las cantidades :

| Chamomile-lemon-turmeric tea | Té con manzanilla- limón y cúrcuma |

| 1 1/2 cups of water | 1 taza y 1/2 de agua |
| 1 tablespoon chamomile flowersr | 1 cucharada de flores de manzanilla |
| 1/2 teaspoon turmeric | 1/2 cucharadita de cúrcuma |
| Sugar or sweetener to taste | Azúcal o endulzante al gusto |
| 1 piece of ground cinnamon | 1 trocito de canela en astilla |
| Half a lemon | Mitad de un limón |
Preparation | Preparación
Put the water in a pan to boil.
Ponemos a calentar el agua en una olla hasta que hierva.
Add the camomile, the turmeric and a small piece of cinnamon, stir, turn off the heat and leave the mixture to stand for about 5 minutes. While the tea is standing, cut the lemon.
Agregamos la manzanilla, la cúrcuma y un trocito de canela, removemos , apagamos y dejamos reposar la mezcla unos 5 minutos. Mientras se reposa el té, cortamos el limón.
Strain the tea, add sugar to taste, squeeze half the lemon and stir with a teaspoon. I like to keep it in a little metal jug to keep it warm until serving time.
Colar el té, añadir azúcar al gusto , exprimimos la mitad del limón y removemos con una cucharilla. A mi me gusta guardarlo en una jarrita de metal que me permite mantenerlo caliente hasta el momento de servirlo.
