This relic pine (relic here means a spieces that survived the last glacial age) holds to a vertical rock against all odds. Few years ago a mountain rescue helicopter damaged the tree and its main branch had to be cut off. But a side branch not only clings to live, but is well #AliveAndThriving. Consider that the tree is ~550 years old.
I’ve had a fantastic weekend with Bro and Sis, in excellent mid-October weather and scenery like below. The Pieniny Mts in Poland / Slovakia are a small but very beautiful and precious part of our Planet.
