I just believe in what is written in the Bible and try to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ in some way. But if I hear wise words within my knowledge base, I stop and listen. I'm not a hostage to labels in this respect. Am I a totally spiritual person? No. I feel that this is a part of my life that I still need to improve, and getting closer to God is something I want to do, in my own way.
Even with this limitation of not following a specific type of religion, based on what I've learned so far and my understanding, I don't believe in reincarnation. And why don't I believe in it? Because of a mention in the Bible, more precisely in Luke 16:26 (which I had to look up), which says the following: “And besides, there is a great gulf between us and you, so that those who would pass from here to you cannot pass, nor those who would pass from there to here.”
It's a complex passage to interpret, but at the same time so direct and simple. How else would God speak about it? It's written, it's stated, reincarnation is not possible. And that's enough for me. You can believe what you like, I'm not here to prove anything to anyone, just to show you a little of the background to how I came to this conclusion.
I know these things are controversial, I've said that before. In my opinion, this idea of reincarnation, as many people present it, seems to be a way of easing the pain of losing loved ones and softening the fear of death. I realize that many people believe in reincarnation as a relief, so that the pain of losing someone is lessened, and I wonder how much they are being fooled. How many charlatans don't use this pain to attract believers to spiritist churches? How many people are manipulated?
Then you might ask: what about those mediums who know everything about the deceased person and reveal details that only they and their relative knew? How do you explain that? Well, sit down because I'm going to tell you something even more controversial.
In my opinion, these mediumistic sessions, the ones that don't fall under the heading of scams, are nothing more than demonic manifestations. Believe it or not, I'm not here to convince anyone and I warned you at the beginning. Demons are everywhere and know everything that happens. In these encounters, they just embody people and speak what they have observed. Is there any other explanation? Maybe it's easier to believe that the person who died is there, isn't it? This is how intimate moments and secrets are revealed in séances, and people end up convinced that they are communicating with someone they love. The devil is cunning and crafty. If those on the other side can't pass over, as the Bible verse I quoted says, then what else could it be?
There are also coincidences. Who hasn't seen someone with a similar manner or speech to someone who has already passed on? Reincarnation? No. Just coincidence. People have a great tendency to believe what they want to believe! It's only natural. I know that the pain of loss is immense, that it hurts deeply not to have someone you love around anymore. But this is part of the cycle of life and we need to accept it.
Of course, I have to say it again: this is my opinion. If anyone felt offended, I apologize in advance. My intention here is not to say that what you believe is wrong, nor that what I believe is right for you. It's just what makes sense to me, and that's that. I don't need opinions, nor do I need to explain anything. Not least because I'm not a great spiritualist who passes on teachings. Eu sou cristão. Não sigo uma religião específica, ou melhor dizendo, uma ramificação do cristianismo como o catolicismo, evangélico, e afins. Não frequento igreja. Acredito apenas no que está escrito na Bíblia e tento seguir de alguma forma os ensinamentos de Jesus Cristo. Mas, se ouço palavras sábias dentro da base do meu conhecimento, paro e ouço. Não sou refém de rótulos quanto a isso. Sou uma pessoa totalmente espiritual? Não. Sinto que essa é uma parte da minha vida que ainda preciso melhorar, e me aproximar mais de Deus é algo que quero fazer, à minha maneira.
Mesmo tendo essa limitação de não seguir um tipo específico de religião, com base no que aprendi até aqui e no meu entendimento, eu não acredito em reencarnação. E por que eu não acredito? Por uma menção na Bíblia, mais precisamente em Lucas 16:26 (da qual precisei pesquisar), que diz o seguinte: "E, além disso, está posto um grande abismo entre nós e vós, de sorte que os que quisessem passar daqui para vós não poderiam, nem tampouco os de lá, passar para cá."
É um trecho complexo de interpretar, mas, ao mesmo tempo, tão direto e simples. Como Deus falaria sobre isso de outro jeito? Está escrito, está afirmado, reencarnação não é possível. E isso é o suficiente para mim. Você pode acreditar no que quiser, não estou aqui para provar nada a ninguém, apenas mostrar um pouco do embasamento de como cheguei a essa conclusão.
Eu sei que essas coisas são polêmicas, já disse isso antes. Na minha opinião, essa ideia de reencarnação, como muitas pessoas a apresentam, parece uma forma de amenizar a dor de perder entes queridos e de suavizar o medo da morte. Percebo que muitas pessoas acreditam na reencarnação como um alívio, para que o sofrimento de perder alguém seja menor e fico pensando o quanto estão sendo enganadas. Quantos charlatões não usam essa dor para atrair fiéis para igrejas espíritas? Quantas pessoas são manipuladas?
Aí você pode perguntar: e quanto àqueles médiuns que sabem tudo sobre a pessoa falecida e revelam detalhes que só ela e o parente conheciam? Como explicar isso? Então, senta ai porque vou dizer algo ainda mais polêmico.
Essas sessões mediúnicas, as que não se encaixam em golpes, na minha visão, não são outra coisa senão manifestações demoníacas. Acredite ou não, não estou aqui para convencer ninguém e eu avisei lá no início. Demônios estão por toda parte e sabem tudo o que acontece. Nesses encontros, eles apenas incorporam em pessoas e falam aquilo que observaram. Existe outra explicação? Talvez seja mais fácil acreditar que quem morreu está ali, não é mesmo? É assim que momentos íntimos e segredos são revelados em sessões, e as pessoas acabam convencidas de que estão se comunicando com alguém que amam. O diabo é ardiloso e astuto. Se quem está do outro lado não pode passar para cá, como diz o versículo da Bíblia que citei, então, o que mais poderia ser?
Também existem coincidências. Quem nunca viu alguém com um jeito parecido, com uma fala semelhante à de uma pessoa que já se foi? Reencarnação? Não. Apenas coincidência. As pessoas têm uma grande tendência a acreditar naquilo que querem acreditar! É natural. Eu sei que a dor da perda é imensa, que machuca profundamente não ter mais por perto quem amamos. Mas isso faz parte do ciclo da vida e precisamos aceitar.
