I had explained in my previous article that Polygon Blockchain is transforming into a network of ZK- powered L2 chains turning into an environment that has unified liquidity, infinite scalability and seamless interoperability.
Polygon 2.0 is coming up to scale Ethereum infinitely!! Wow!!!
The entire Polygon Network will feel like a single chain for the user, although in reality Polygon Network would house an ecosystem of hundreds and more of ZK-powered L2 chains that are interconnected offering seamlessly interoperability and together they would power the Polygon ecosystem with infinite scalability.
This new generation Polygon Blockchain is Polygon 2.0.
Polygon 2.0 would have scalability that can expand like the internet!!
So, when one individual chain is not able to process further user transactions after a time due to having reached its maximum throughput or Block space capacity, other chains can be added that can accommodate more transactions. As these chains are seamlessly interoperable, they successfully work together to scale the entire Polygon ecosystem.
Polygon 2.0 aims to make Web3 easily accessible and affordable to all
Ultimately, Polygon 2.0 will be able to serve as the Value layer of the internet. This means all users will be able to get access to DEFI applications and own digital assets, instead of DEFI being accessible only to the richer class of users who can afford to pay high fees for faster finality.
*** Polygon 2.0 aims to democratise web3 that way, with everyone being able to create, transfer and program value.***
So, developers can create interoperable, scalable dapps in Polygon 2.0, that are cost effective attracting large number of users to Web3. Then web3 becomes akin to the internet as the internet has given billions of users’ access to data in a scalable fashion.
*** Polygon 2.0’s web3 infrastructure would similarly give billions of users access to value.***
A sum up of all the enhanced characteristics of Polygon 2.0 !!
Polygon 2.0 architecture is designed specifically to power an infinitely scalable Network with unified liquidity while having seamless cross chain interoperability and composability.
So, as explained all ZK-powered L2 chains are interconnected in Polygon 2.0 to have seamless interoperability. In addition to this it would be possible to conduct instant native token asset transactions between two external Blockchains - Polygon & Ethereum.
So, there is no need for wrapping tokens from Polygon to use them on Ethereum. There’s unified liquidity without fragmentation.
My next article will delve deep into Polygon 2.0’s architecture that would equip the Polygon 2.0 with the enhanced capabilities mentioned here.
