¡Saludos amigos! Ya vamos por la semana #276 del concurso semanal de arte de splinterlands y para esta edición he trabajado con la carta de Shin-Lo
Greetings friends! We are already in week #276 of the splinterlands weekly art contest and for this edition I have worked with Shin-Lo's card
Este misterioso Dragón del otro lado del mundo habla en un idioma que ninguno de los Dragones de Splinterlands puede entender. Desde que llegó, ha provocado peleas con Lightning Dragons, City Dragons, Burrowing Dragons e incluso con el gran Dragón Dorado. Para los Dragones del Gloridax Shin-Lo es simplemente una molestia, se acerca sigilosamente detrás de ellos y realiza tiros bajos siempre que puede.
This mysterious Dragon from the other side of the world speaks in a language that none of the Splinterlands Dragons can understand. Since arriving he has caused fights with Lightning Dragons, City Dragons, Burrowing Dragons and even the great Gold Dragon himself. To the Dragons of the Gloridax Shin-Lo is merely a nuisance, sneaking up behind them and taking cheap shots whenever he can.
La ilustración de Shin-Lo fué hecha usando la técnica del pixel art, arte digital y aquí les explicaré un poco como llevé a cabo el proceso de dibujo.
The illustration of Shin-Lo was made using the pixel art technique, digital art, and here I will explain a little how I carried out the drawing process.
Empecé haciendo un boceto, en donde definí toda la estructura del dragón y para esto usé pixeles oscuros.
I started by making a sketch, where I defined the entire structure of the dragon and for this I used dark pixels.
Añadí un color rojo base en toda la piel del dragón.
I added a base red color throughout the dragon's skin.
Empecé a hacer el sombreado, usando un tramado de pixeles oscuros.
I started doing the shading, using a dark pixel pattern.
Al igual que el sombreado la iluminación es muy importante y usé igualmente un tramado de pixeles, pero esta vez pixeles claros para la iluminación.
Like shading, lighting is very important and I also used a pixel dither, but this time light pixels for lighting.
En estas dos imágenes siguientes podemos apreciar el resultado final del coloreado de la piel.
In these two following images we can see the final result of the skin coloring.
En este punto trabajé las llamas de la cabeza del dragón y completé el coloreado de toda la cara, ojos, cejas, lengua y los dientes, usando el mismo procedimiento anterior. Color base, junto con el tramado de pixeles para las sombras y luces.
At this point I worked the flames on the dragon's head and completed the coloring of the entire face, eyes, eyebrows, tongue and teeth, using the same previous procedure. Base color, along with the pixel dithering for shadows and lights.
Luego continué con el pecho y las aletas de la espalda, además de la llama en la punta de cola.
Then I continued with the chest and back fins, as well as the flame on the tip of the tail.
Para terminar, le añadí un fondo con un tramado de pixeles de colores bastantes llamativos.
To finish, I added a background with a pattern of pixels in quite striking colors.
