Hello friends of Hive! Yesterday I didn't have the opportunity to post due to certain occupations, well, I lost the challenge of posting 31 days in a row, but there's no way, look forward and keep posting!
Today I arrive with chapter 2 of Neo_Twewy (NEO_ The World Ends with You) in this post I will complement a little the review I made of the game and continue with the story.
IN the previous post there was so much Lore of the game that I forgot to explain a couple more things, so I will do it here, while I continue telling the story, I hope not to extend myself too much and I try to summarize everything I can because I understand that it can become boring for those who read. I apologize and accept advice!
In the last chapter our protagonists, Rindo and Fret had just met Kaichi Susuki, who taught them to see and fight noise, we learned a bit about the system and we were welcomed to the reapers game, let's see what happens now!
After this "warm welcome" we are given the first mission to accomplish in this reaper game, we are supposed to receive the mission orders in front of the faithful dog.
Our friends suppose that we should go to receive the orders near the statue of Hachiko.
Short pause to explain that we can run away from the game, just fine, pause and run away xD. You can't always run away though!
After walking for a while Fret claims to be hearing people's voices, although he cannot see that they move his lips, he feels that he has the power to read minds. Our friend Rindo decides to try it on his own.
And so we unlock what I think is a signature feature of the first game, scanning when you focus and reading minds, which is very useful to find out certain things.
Or directly read useless things, like the case of this girl who will have to see her old classmates again after 10 years and is afraid of falling in love again with her old young love.
Anyway, we arrive at the square where the statue of Hachiko is located and we see a rather suspicious person.
He realizes that we are newbies and gives us encouragement in a quite friendly way, as well as explaining a little about our first mission. It seems we must… Reveal the true colors of the skulls.
Then go back to him and reveal what these colors were.
Obviously the map they gave us is a minimalist representation of the crosswalk in Shibuya, but Rindo and Fret aren't too smart to figure it out, at least not without the help of the mysterious boy, who tells them to think in Shibuya upon seeing it.
We are told a little about the treasures, they will be our game collectibles and those that add extra hours to the gameplay of the game, at least if you want to complete it 100%
Analyzing the map we found our first skull, a yellow one!
After a while our friends Rindo and Fret hardly realize that there is a wall that prevents them from leaving the area where they are, it seems strange that only they see it and that other people seem to go through it No problem.
And well, they continue with their thing, 2nd skull found, it is blue.
The location of the third skull was somewhat more ambiguous as it was found on a person's arm, we discovered it by scanning and reading minds. It is purple.
We saw a sewer with a strange symbol that turned out to be noise, this near the location of our last skull, so… We will fight against this noise!
Before the combat we are explained a bit about the pins and their powers, basically these have to be recharged and we must manage our times well when attacking.
And we found our last skull, quite red in color.
The weird announcer that sometimes shows up on Shibuya TV commercials now shows up on the phones, announcing the teams in the game, we have hidden teams like Deep Rivers Society and we have… Rindo's team?
Apparently Fret saw a popup asking if he wanted to “create a new team” Fret thought it was a team, but not as a team, but as a group to chat, and he agreed, then left got bored and stopped writing so the app set by default "Rindo Group" what a problem.
Momentarily we get back in touch with Golondrina, although she doesn't seem to be online, she just answered old messages about the virtual creature she saw in Shibuya, Rindo asks Golondrina if she found out about the game in Shibuya .
We return to the boy who assigned us the mission and we inform him about the status of its completion, after informing him of the color of each skull, he tells us that we can now access the next area.
On the way to the next area we come across a bigger noise that gets in our way, so our friends decide to finish it off.
We are explained about the mechanics in combat called "Climax" basically if we deal enough blows in a row we will reach a climax state where we will deal a critical hit.
After the battle where Rindo and Fret already presumed to be experts, things begin to heat up and we can see how our characters begin to be surrounded by enemies.
Things looked bad until a mysterious character arrives who saves our protagonists. This rather strange man speaks making many mathematical references like "You are weak to the nth power" I'm sure he likes mathematics xD.
Well, he compares us to more things and insults us a little more, but…He helps us out with the next match! (Plus it gives us a new pin!)
Anyway, let's go to the fight!
After the fight he explains to us in a strange way… Well, he doesn't really explain anything to us, he just makes mathematical references where all we understand is that he feels too strong to be in a team and that we are weak, weak enough to have chances of winning this competition so low that they are almost close to 0.
Ah, he also introduces himself as Sho Minamimoto.
He pulls a megaphone out of nowhere...
He keeps humiliating us, but come on, finally he's going to accompany us out of pity xD. We pass to the next area next to him, we go to Shibuya Hikarie.
Around these sides there is still noise, one with which we will take a next step by defeating!
After this fight we can see how we get a new pin, thanks to the fact that we level up the ones we had at the beginning, Sho doesn't seem to care too much, he even makes fun of the fact that we are too weak to use it.
After being annoyed to see a pin we own, he wonders who would create them, especially for people as weak like Rindo and Fret.
Anyway, get us the "Firestorm" pin and it explains how to equip it, basically it's going to the menu and assigning a character and checking the input command, since we can't use two powers that need to be activated with the same button! !
Finally I assigned the “Firestorm” pin to Fret I think this one has the vibes to use this kind of powers xD.
Well, after this we advance a little and we arrive at the place that we had to arrive, where we will face the final boss of this day. Sho informs us that he was pretty weak, apparently at 60% max raise. So things were not going to be very difficult.
Things got a little complicated until I took out the special attack on the pin that Fret has, a meteorite fell and well, the boss was reduced to ashes.
After the fight, the reaper approaches us and explained something about the game to us at the beginning and rewards us with… A simple and loud applause?
She is shown to be surprised at how far we've come, though this doesn't seem to be something she cares too much about.
Our characters notice something strange, apparently they could only send messages to each other, although they decide not to give it much importance.
Rindo and Fret decide that enough is enough for the day, and they prefer to leave things related to the game for later, it's getting late so they say goodbye.
After the departure of Fret we see how Rindo has a connection again. He communicates with Golondrina, she is sorry for responding late to Rindo's messages and tells her that she wishes they had seen each other, Rindo replies that she will be for another time
Although the situation makes Rindo sad, she would have liked some advice from Golondrina, and well, they ask her if she is having a hard time leveling up.
Rindo replies that a little, Golondrina says that next time they are going to see each other, another opportunity should not be passed up.
Finally Golondrina asks if Rindo is still in Shibuya, Rindo tells her that he is, but that he's already leaving. And they say goodbye.
And so ends our Day number 1.
Hola amigos de Hive! El día de ayer no tuve la oportunidad de publicar debido a ciertas ocupaciones, bueno, perdí e reto de publicar 31 días seguidos, pero no hay manera, ¡a mirar para adelante y seguir publicando!
Hoy llego con el capítulo 2 de Neo_Twewy (NEO_ The World Ends with You) en este post complementare un poco el review que hice del juego y continuare con la historia.
En el post anterior hubo tanto Lore del juego que se me paso explicar un par de cosas más, entonces lo hare aquí, mientas sigo contando la historia, espero no extenderme demasiado e intento resumir todo lo que puedo porque entiendo que puede llegar a ser aburrido para quien lee. ¡Ruego disculpas y acepto consejos!
En el último capítulo nuestros protagonistas, Rindo y Fret acababan de conocer a Kaichi Susuki, quien les enseño a ver y combatir el ruido, aprendimos un poco del sistema y se nos dio la bienvenida al juego de los segadores, ¡veamos que ocurre ahora!
Luego de esta “cálida bienvenida” se nos otorga la primera misión a cumplir en este juego de los segadores, se supone que debemos recibir las órdenes de la misión en frente del fiel can.
Nuestros amigos suponen que debemos ir a recibir las órdenes cerca de la estatua de Hachiko.
Pequeña pausa para explicar que podemos huir del juego, basta con bueno, pausar y huir xD. ¡Aunque no siempre se puede huir!
Luego de un rato caminando Fret asegura estar escuchando voces de las personas, aunque no puede ver que estas muevan sus labios, siente que tiene el poder de leer la mente. Nuestro amigo Rindo decide probar por cuenta propia.
Y así desbloqueamos lo que me parece una función emblemática del primer juego, el escaneo cuando te concentras y leer la mente, algo muy útil para averiguar ciertas cosas.
O directamente leer cosas inútiles, como el caso de esta chica que tendrá que volver a ver a sus antiguos compañeros de clase luego de 10 años y siente miedo de volverse a enamorar de su antiguo amor juvenil.
En fin que llegamos a la plaza donde se encuentra la estatua de Hachiko y vemos a una persona bastante sospechosa.
Se da cuenta que somos novatos y nos da ánimos de manera bastante amable, además de explicarnos un poco de nuestra primera misión. Al parecer debemos… Revelar los verdaderos colores de las calaveras.
Luego volver con él y revelarle cuales eran estos colores.
Obviamente el mapa que nos entregaron es una representación minimalista del paso peatonal en Shibuya, pero Rindo y Fret no son demasiado inteligentes para averiguarlo, al menos no sin la ayuda del chico misterioso, quien les dice que piensen en Shibuya al verlo.
Se nos habla un poco de los tesoros, serán nuestros coleccionables del juego y los que agreguen horas extra al gameplay del mismo, al menos si deseas completarlo al 100%
Analizando el mapa encontramos nuestra primera calavera, ¡una de color amarillo!
Tras un buen rato nuestro amigos Rindo y Fret apenas se dan cuenta que existe un muro que les impide salir del área donde se encuentran, les parece raro que solo ellos lo ven y que las demás personas parecen atravesarlo sin problemas.
Y bueno, ellos siguen con lo suyo, 2da calavera encontrada, es de color azul.
La ubicación de la tercera calavera era algo más ambigua pues se hallaba en el brazo de una persona, lo descubrimos escaneando y leyendo mentes. Es de color morado.
Vimos una alcantarilla con un símbolo extraño que resulto ser ruido, esto cerca de la ubicación de nuestra última calavera, por ende… ¡Pelearemos contra este ruido!
Antes del combate se nos explica un poco de los pines y sus poderes, básicamente estos se tienen que recargar y debemos manejar bien nuestros tiempos a la hora de atacar.
Y encontramos nuestra última calavera, de un color bastante rojo.
El presentador extraño que a veces aparece en las televisiones publicitarias de Shibuya ahora aparece en los teléfonos, anunciando los equipos del juego, tenemos equipos ocultos como Deep Rivers Society y tenemos… ¿El equipo de Rindo?
Al parecer Fret vio una ventana emergente que preguntaba si este deseaba “crear un nuevo equipo” Fret pensó que era un equipo, pero no como equipo, sino como un grupo para chatear, y acepto, luego se aburrió y dejo de escribir así que la app coloco por defecto “Grupo de Rindo” vaya problema.
Momentáneamente volvemos a comunicarnos con Golondrina, aunque esta no parece estar en línea, solo nos respondió mensajes viejos acerca de la criatura virtual que vio en Shibuya, Rindo le pregunta a Golondrina si se enteró del juego que hay en Shibuya.
Volvemos con el chico que nos asignó la misión y le informamos sobre el estado de la finalización de la misma, luego de informarle el color de cada calavera nos cuenta que ya podemos acceder a la próxima área.
Camino a el siguiente área nos topamos con un ruido más grande que se interpone a nuestro paso, así que nuestros amigos se deciden a acabar con él.
Se nos explica de la mecánica en combate llamada “Clímax” básicamente si asestamos los suficientes golpes seguidos llegaremos a un estado de clímax donde asestaremos un golpe crítico.
Luego de la batalla donde Rindo y Fret ya presumían ser unos expertos, las cosas se comienzan a calentar y podemos ver como nuestros personajes empiezan a ser rodeados de enemigos.
La cosa pintaba mal hasta que llega un personaje misterioso que nos salva el pellejo. Este hombre bastante extraño habla haciendo muchas referencias matemáticas como “Sois débiles a la enésima potencia” estoy seguro que le gustan las matemáticas xD.
Bueno, nos compara con más cosas y nos insulta un poco más, pero… ¡Nos echa una mano con el siguiente combate! (¡Además nos da un pin nuevo!)
En fin, ¡vamos al combate!
Luego de la pelea nos explica de una extraña manera… Bueno, realmente no nos explica nada, solo hace referencias matemáticas donde todo lo que entendemos es que se siente muy fuerte como para estar en un equipo y que somos débiles, tan débiles como para tener unas posibilidades de ganar esta competencia tan bajas que son casi cercanas a 0.
Ah, también se presenta como Sho Minamimoto.
Saca un megáfono de la nada…
Nos sigue humillando, pero vamos, finalmente nos va a acompañar por lastima xD. Pasmos al siguiente área junto a él, vamos a Shibuya Hikarie.
Por estos lados sigue habiendo ruido, ¡uno con el cual daremos un siguiente paso al derrotar!
Luego de este combate podemos ver como obtenemos un nuevo pin, esto gracias a que subimos de nivel los que teníamos al comenzar, a Sho no parece importarle demasiado, incluso se burla de que somos demasiado débiles como para usarlo.
Luego de molesta al ver un pin de los que poseemos, se pregunta quine los crearía, sobre todo para gente tan débil como Rindo y Fret.
En fin, obtennos el pin de “Tormenta de fuego” y se nos explica como equiparlo, básicamente es ir al menú y asignar un personaje y verificar el comando de entrada, ¡dado que no podemos usar dos poderes que necesiten activarse con el mismo botón!
Finalmente asigne el pin “Tormenta de fuego” a Fret me parece que este tiene las vibras de usar este tipo de poderes xD.
Bueno, luego de esto avanzamos un poco y llegamos al sitio que debíamos llegar, donde enfrentaremos el jefe final de este día. Sho nos informa que estaba bastante debilitado, al parecer al 60% de subida máxima. Así que las cosas no iban a ser muy difíciles.
Las cosas se complicaron un poco hasta que saque el ataque especial del pin que posee Fret cayo un meteorito y bueno, el jefe quedo reducido a cenizas.
Luego del combate se nos acerca la segadora que nos explicó algo del juego al comienzo y nos premia con… ¿Un simple y fuerte aplauso?
Esta se muestra sorprendida con lo lejos que hemos llegado, aunque esto no parece ser algo que le importe demasiado.
Nuestros personajes notan algo raro, al parecer solo podían mandarse mensajes entre ellos, aunque deciden no darle mucha importancia.
Rindo y Fret deciden que ya es suficiente por el día, y prefieren dejar las cosas relacionados con el juego para después, se hace tarde así que se despiden.
Tras la marcha de Fret vemos cómoRindo vuelve a tener conexión. Este se comunica con Golondrina, esta se apena por responder tarde a los mensajes de Rindo y le dice que ojala se hubieran visto, Rindo le contesta que ya será para otra ocasión
Aunque la situación pone triste a Rindo le hubiera gustado recibir un consejo de Golondrina, y bueno, le preguntan si le está costando subir de nivel.
Rindo responde que un poco, Golondrina dice que la próxima vez se van a ver, no se debe dejar pasar otra oportunidad.
Finalmente Golondrina pregunta si Rindo sigue en Shibuya, este le dice que sí, pero que ya se va. Y se despiden.
Y así termina nuestro Día número 1.
