Being today Sunday I decided to try a new game, although my thought for today was to upload a chapter of one of the games I'm uploading about on Hive, I finally decided on a review.
And this is how I arrive today with The Escapists 2 a game by Team 17 a company that I have enormous affection for bringing a saga that I love very much, Worms, the one with the little worms that fought for turns with all kinds of weapons, in short, returning to the game that we will be dealing with today...
The Escapists 2 is a simulation-style video game, in which we will have to devise our ideal escape from a prison, we will have several prisons available to play, from a paradisiacal center from which no one would really want to escape to a similar maximum security prison to alcatraz, or maybe some futuristic prison from which it seems impossible to escape, in short, for each case you just have to be creative or maybe a little patient, the exit will be just around the corner.
We will have many options from the main menu, we will be able to play a game in the solitary mode of a lifetime, edit characters, play against another player, either locally or online, of course we will have the usual options and a couple of extras like the criminal history of our characters.

I would explain a little about the options, but they are the same as you will see in any game, the mode "against another player" is exactly the same as the solo mode, only that in the game it is something different, basically it is against.
So let's get down to business, play the tutorial!
It is explained to us that this game is one of the "open world" type (somewhat ironic considering that we are locked in a prison) where we must devise a way to escape from a prison, there are many things to do in each prison and different forms of escape from each.
For the tutorial we will have Precinct 17 a low level prison, ideal for learning.
We start by seeing a nice cinematic of a man sitting on the beach talking to his friend, who tells him to tell him the story of how Robinson escaped from prison. (More like a police station, but hey xD.)
One day he got up and said: "Enough is enough" apparently his time to get out of prison had come, of course, by his own hand.
By way of comical dialogues where Robinson speaks in the third person, about himself (it makes sense because he is telling a story) we are explained all kinds of useful things, such as the management of our desktop, where we will store several useful objects to get out of prison.
The first thing we see in terms of objects are a sock and a soap, and yes, we all know where this is going xD.
We open our object creation menu and place the sock together with the soap, ladies and gentlemen, we already have our first personal defense weapon.
The next thing will be to report to the central courtyard of the prison, where roll call is taken every morning and night. If you want to escape from prison it is best to complete most of the activities, you do not want to attract too much attention if you want to escape from prison.
If we are somewhat lost in the game, with respect to where the activities take place and that, just follow the yellow arrow, it will guide us to the next activity, roll call, breakfast, exercises, among others.
Our friend Robinson had a little hunch, something told him that Chuck another prisoner in this jail would have some idea to escape from here. So he went and gave him a couple of hits with the soap to get him to talk.
Our little Robi got out of hand and left Chuck unconscious, Robi decided to take Chuck's keys and get out of there.
Apparently the keys that Chuck had were more important than it seemed, they were used to open a desk where nothing more and nothing less than a pickaxe was located.
With this tool Robinson thought it was enough, he could escape from jail, however discretion was still important, so he took the sheets from his room and used them to cover his cell.
He started poking at the wall with all his might, until he just couldn't take it anymore.
To restore his energy levels, he headed to the kitchen, it was time to eat and he could use a dish to restore energy.
He returned to the cell and pecked what was left of the wall, once the work was finished she went to the next room.
I check the desk that was there and manage to find scissors and an energy drink, enough to advance through the airway of the prison.
Then he took the desk and placed it under the ventilation shaft, to restore the energy lost from chipping the wall he drank the energy drink.
The next thing in the plan was to cut the ventilation grille, so that he would finally be a little closer to the exit.
Once on the other side of the vent our not-so-hero Robinson repeated the process of cutting through the grille.
Luck stopped smiling at Robinson apparently a guard must have noticed that he was nowhere and the prison alarms were activated, however, Robinson had a contact, he left a shovel for could go out through the last door of the prison.
Our Robi set out to dig under the exit door until he was finally able to get in through a hole.
Once inside, I dig a couple of spaces forward, to finally get ready to dig up, to finally get out of that hell.
It seemed that luck hadn't deserted Robinson yet, he was able to find a pair of scissors in the prison parking lot and used them to open a hole in the grate, away from the eyes of any guards.
And that's how Robinson escaped, a master of escape, the guru of outings, now the only thing left to do was enjoy a full paradisiacal life.
Or maybe not…?
And that was it for Precinct 17! The first prison in this game, one that of course doesn't present a challenge, however, is a fun experience, a complete tutorial with which we can take a look at what awaits us in The Escapists 2of course, you must bear in mind that it will only be a glimpse, this game is really extensive, there will be a thousand things to do to escape from other prisons, that is for sure.
Siendo hoy domingo me decidí por probar un juego nuevo, si bien mi pensamiento inicia para el día de hoy era el de subir un capítulo de alguno de los juegos sobre los que estoy subiendo en Hive, finalmente me decidí por un review.
Y así es como llego hoy con The Escapists 2 un juego de Team 17 una compañía a la que le tengo un cariño enorme por traer una saga que amo muchísimo, Worms, la de los gusanitos que luchaban por turnos con todo tipo de armas, en fin, volviendo al juego que estaremos tratando hoy…
The Escapists 2 es un videojuego del estilo simulación, en el que deberemos idear nuestro escape ideal de una prisión, tendremos varias prisiones disponibles para jugar, desde un centro paradisiaco del cual realmente nadie quisiera escapar a una prisión de máxima seguridad parecida a alcatraz, o quizá alguna prisión futurista de la que parezca imposible escapar, en fin, para cada caso solo debes ser creativo o tal vez un poco paciente, la salida estará a la vuelta de la esquina.
Tendremos muchas opciones desde el menú principal, podremos jugar una partida en el modo solitario de toda la vida, editar personajes, jugar en contra de otro jugador, ya sea de manera local o en línea, por supuesto tendremos las opciones habituales y un par de extras como el historial delictivo de nuestros personajes.
Por ejemplo estos serían los personajes iniciales que están en mi partida:

Explciaria un poco de las opciones, pero son lo mismo que veras en cualquier juego, el modo “contra otro jugador” es exactamente igual al modo solitario, solo que en la partida es algo diferente, básicamente es en contra.
Así que vamos a lo importante, ¡a jugar el tutorial!
Se nos explica que este juego es uno del tipo “mundo abierto” (algo irónico tomando en cuenta que estamos encerrados en una prisión) donde deberemos idear una forma de escapar de una prisión, existen muchas cosas por hacer en cada prisión y distintas formas de escape de cada una.
Para el tutorial tendremos Precinct 17 una prisión de bajo nivel, ideal para aprender.
Comenzamos viendo una linda cinemática de un señor sentado en la playa hablando con su amigo, este le dice que le contara la historia de cómo escapo Robinson de la prisión. (Más bien una estación de policía, pero bueno xD.)
Un día se levantó y dijo: “Ya basta” al parecer su momento de salir de prisión había llegado, claro, por su propia mano.
A modo de cómicos diálogos donde Robinson habla en tercera persona, sobre el mismo (tiene sentido pues está contando una historia) se nos van explicando todo tipo de cosas útiles, como la gestión de nuestro escritorio, donde guardaremos varios objetos útiles para salir de prisión.
Lo primero que vemos en cuanto a objetos son un calcetín y un jabón, y sí, todos sabemos por dónde va esto xD.
Abrimos nuestro menú de creación de objetos y colocamos el calcetín junto con el jabón, señoras y señores ya tenemos nuestra primera arma de defensa personal.
Lo siguiente será presentarse al patio central de la prisión, donde pasan lista todas las mañanas y noches. Si deseas escapar de prisión lo mejor será cumplir con la mayor parte de las actividades, no quieres llamar demasiado la atención si deseas escapar de la cárcel.
Si estamos algo perdidos en el juego, con respecto a donde se desarrollan las actividades y eso, basta con seguir la flecha amarilla, esta nos guiara a la próxima actividad, pase de lista, desayunos, ejercicios, entre otros.
Nuestro amigo Robinson tuvo una pequeña corazonada, algo le dijo que Chuck otro preso de esta cárcel tendría alguna idea para escapar de aquí. Por lo cual fue y le dio un par de ostias para que hablara.
A nuestro pequeño Robi se le paso la mano y dejo a Chuck inconsciente, Robi decidió tomar las llaves de Chuck y salir de ahí.
Al parecer las llaves que tenía Chuck eran más importantes de lo que parecía, servían para abrir un escritorio donde se ubicaba nada más y nada menos que un pico.
Con esta herramienta Robinson pensó que era suficiente, podría escapar de la cárcel, sin embargo la discreción aún era algo importante, por lo que tomo las sabanas de su habitación y las uso para tapar su celda.
Empezó a picar la pared con todas sus fuerzas, hasta que simplemente no pudo más.
Pata restablecer sus niveles de energía se encamino a la cocina, ya era hora de comer y le vendría bien un platillo para restablecer la energía.
Volvió a la celda y pico lo que restaba de pared, una vez terminado el trabajo paso a la siguiente sala.
Reviso el escritorio que se encontraba ahí y logro encontrar unas tijeras y una bebida energética, suficientes para avanzar por el ducto respiratorio de la cárcel.
Luego tomo el escritorio y lo coloco debajo del conducto de ventilación, para restablecer la energía perdida por picar la pared se tomó la bebida energética.
Lo siguiente en el plan fue cortar la rejilla de ventilación, así estaría por fin un poco más cerca de la salida.
Una vez del otro lado del conducto de ventilación nuestro no tan héroe Robinson repitió el proceso de cortar la rejilla.
La suerte dejo de sonriera a Robinson al parecer un guardia debió notar que no estaba en ningún lado y se activaron las alarmas de la prisión, sin embargo, Robinson tenía un contacto, este dejo una pala para que pudiera salir por la última puerta de la prisión.
Nuestro Robi se dispuso a cavar debajo de la puerta de salida hasta que por fin pudo entrar por un hoyo.
Una vez adentro escavo un par de espacios hacia adelante, para finalmente disponerse a cavar hacia arriba, por fin salir de aquel infierno.
Parecía que la suerte aun no abandonaba a Robinson, este pudo encontrar unas tijeras en el estacionamiento de la prisión y las uso para abrir un hoyo en la rejilla, lejos de los ojos de cualquier guardia.
Y así fue como escapo Robinson un maestro del escape, el gurú de las salidas, ahora solo quedaba disfrutar de una plena vida paradisiaca.
¿O tal vez no…?
¡Y eso fue todo sobre Precinct 17! La primera prisión de este juego, una que por supuesto no representa un reto, sin embargo, es una experiencia divertida, un tutorial completo con el cual podemos dar un vistazo a lo que nos espera en The Escapists 2por supuesto, debes tener en cuenta que solo será un vistazo, este juego es realmente extenso, habrán mil cosas por hacer para escapar de otras prisiones, eso tenlo por seguro.
