I would be in awe all the time. I don't know if my heart can withstand such awe... but looking at these photos, I thought of your desire to live in a more rural area. I prefer that too. I like to walk around the city but not live in it.
Malaga is beautiful, however I prefer its green landscapes and its sea.
As for how people prepare and live these festivities, I find it super nice, whatever it is... it is true that sometimes things lose their essence with the consumerism, but if you stop to think in all times it was like that, which is in its own way. I suppose that keeping the tradition is something remarkable. In many places culture and identity are lost.
