As a woman, I love to shop because it’s more of a stress reliever for me. I’m sure most men complain about how women shop a lot but what else can we do?😂 Even now, @fashtioluwa is ignoring me because of small money he will give me for shopping.
Looking back to a few years ago, before COVID, we didn’t have a lot of online shopping going on. But, the emergence of the pandemic led everyone to resort to selling and buying online and today, it has grown to become an everyday thing for us.
I for one made good money during the pandemic when I started my own business. I made a lot of money from sales because at that time, people were always buying stuff for occasions. But, I remember having not so good experiences with my customers. Some of them always wanted to buy on credit, while others were looking to cheat me. Little did they know that I’ve been in the game not today.😂 With people like this, I always know how to handle them.
On the other hand, I wouldn’t really say I’ve had good experiences shopping online. It’s fun being the vendor online and being able to provide your customers with good services. But what annoys me is that, when the tables turn and I become the buyer, I end up getting cheated or receiving poor services. There was a time an ordered something online and the vendor run away with my money. Till today, I haven’t received what I ordered.
And funny enough, I always promise myself not to purchase anything online yet I always find my way back. Shopping online is convenient but also comes with risks. Just this week , I had to pay a huge sum of money for a product only for the vendor to start ignoring. Now, I’m sitting here hoping my order arrives before I run mad.
Personally, I would say shopping online, especially from sources that are not very trusted is a risky game. It’s always a win or lose situation but yeah, that’s the life now. Only the risk takers get to enjoy sometimes.
