White rice and sauce for Sunday

Hello everyone is another day and another new recipe.
It been a long time I eat with rice and sauce and it has not cross my mind because during my first child pregnancy I carved for white rice and sauce so much so after my pregnancy time I now hate sauce it today I went to market to buy things I will use for my Sunday rice so I meant I friend of mine she told me that she wants to prepare sauce for her mother and by then I have been thinking on the kind of rice to cook immediately she mentioned white rice and sauce I was very happy because I have know what to cook for Sunday.
I quickly followed her to buy the things I will us in cooking my white rice and sauce.

INGREDIENTS USED
4 cups of rice
1 green pepper
15 piece of of green beans
2 pices of carrots
Salt to taste
1 medium Onion
4 piece of hot pepper
1 spoon full of kidney beans
2 tablespoon of sweet corn
1/2 tablespoon of grounded tumeric
1 Irish potato
1/2 tablespoon of cornflour
Water.

PROCEDURE
I will first cook my white rice before I cook my sauce.

WHITE RICE
I will first parboil my rice by putting my rice in my pot add water and cook.

After some minutes I will now bring my rice down and wash.

After washing I will put back in my pot add water and cook.

I will now check if my rice is done.

Here my white rice is done I will now proceed with my sauce.

SAUCE
When preparing sauce I do get my things ready before I start cooking.
I will start my washing my carrot, green beans, green pepper, carrots, Irish potato, onions and my hot pepper after washing I will now slice them.

Here am done slice them all.

I will now put my clean pot on fire add water and cook.
I will first put my slice Irish potato because it will be done before I add others.
I will wait for some minutes and add salt.

I will now add my pepper and slice onions.

I will also add my slice green beans ,green pepper and carrots.

I will add my corn flour so it will make my sauce thick.

I will also add my sweet corn and kidney beans.

I will now add my tumeric it helps to color my sauce.

Here my sauce is ready.

I will now dish my food out.

After cooking this meal my kids was surprised because I have not cook this type before.
But when they taste it my daughter said mummy so we have this type of meal you you always cook stew.
They enjoyed this my sauce so much even my husband enjoyed it too.
Am so happy I cook something new for my family and they enjoyed it.
