TGIF! My day began some hours ago.
The weather seems friendly today; hopefully there will be no rain to mess up my fun-filled activities set out specifically for fun and merriment. I woke up feeling so excited because it's sure going to be a fun Friday. It's graduation day and priz- giving day in my kids school. My son's teacher told mea few days ago that an award awaits my child today for his outstanding performance, and I should wait for it on this day. You needed to see the butterflies 🦋🦋 in my belly, lolz..I feel good , I feel excited, and I can't wait for the right time to join the fun properly. So while I share with you the highlights of my week, kindly stay tuned for the highlight of my fun day post after the event today.
See picture below, the event is just starting with kids showcasing their talents, there will be more, I hope you check back for it 😊
This week has been awesome. You know that feeling when things are happening beyond your expectations? That's my mood right now, and I am kind of proud of myself for taking a move immediately after I got the idea. So I was thinking of an extra income to support my family. You know the economy in my country has gotten to the point of having numerous sources of income to survive to avoid hunger, hahaha 😂. As a typical African woman, I don't get lazy when money is involve, and so I quickly thought about dealing with baby clothing, mostly newborns. You know why, as much as most people's attention has shifted from buying material things to food due to the economy, pregnant mothers may not have the option to skip buying clothes for their newborns, no matter how food has become major priority for most of us currently.
This thought made me make a move to one of the largest markets in the state where I reside to buy baby clothes to sell. I had 100 pieces to start with and see how the business will move. Coming home, I met some retailers around my home, and they loved the dresses, especially the affordable prices. I sold most of the clothes to them, leaving 21 pieces. Some retailers still requested more specifically on a particular design for babies. I also got more requests from 7 other moms, but I have yet to supply them.
The school has been partially on break since they finished exams last week, they have been at home throughout this week until this day, their party day, and so it's been fun and silly to play with them, hehehehe.
In my free time, we have been having fun, trying out different games, and bonding more.
My online activities have been great as well this week. I don't think I have missed a day without publishing and engaging in others posts. It's a win-win for all.
Hopefully, this weekend will be more relaxing and fun-filled.
There you have it—the highlights of my week. How has the week been for you? Share with me.
Remember to stay positive.
