Good morning everyone! depending where in the world you are, I hope you have a great start of your weekend! It's Saturday morning 7 am for me, the sun is already shining, I'm in front of my PC with a mug of coffee doing Splinterlands things, the perfect way to start my weekend for me. 🙂
This weeks Battle Mage Secrets Challenge is now 15 hours old, so yesterday in the afternoon it launched and I already made the thumbnail for this post, so now it's time for the post itself, let's go!
The featured ruleset for this week is the Lost Magic ruleset, which is very easy to understand - no magic units allowed which favors some monsters that are easy to kill with magic, like the Ever-hungry Skull

Also the Shield ability is more effective because it can't be circumvented, combine that with demoralize and it can be quite effective!
Before I go and talk about the main battle for today, I want to show you a quick Lost Magic battle that happened yesterday evening, and with quick I mean really fast! The battle was over in round 1, this has never happened to me in almost three years of playing! 😂
And while it was a great battle is was low mana and so short I couldn't make a post about it, but it's too funny not to share!
Water is the only Splinter I have a max summoner for combined with some max cards because the difference is very big with gold level, this battle is a 23 mana Rise of the Commons / Lost Magic battle with the Fire and Death splinters locked out, for me the choice was easy, Diemon Shark is a beast, it's quite evasive and it's retaliate destroys opponents very fast, the Deeplurker can poison opponents but also demoralizes the entire enemy team.
The enemy Drybone Barbarian is also a very good card, and also has retaliate, very funny to watch them hitting each other over and over, and because of this combined with trample, my team killed the entire enemy team in turn 1!

The main battle for this post

First look at the battlefield:

Well I got the range heavy team right, even with Sloan, I'm not sure why Uriel is in the 2nd position, could be a bot maybe? One with a nice deck for sure!
My Line-Up:
- Summoner: Quix the Devious - reason: Access to the Dragons, -1 ranged damage.
- First position: Djinn Chwala - reason: Thorns, Enrage, high damage, high HP, good armor.
- Second position: Carnage Titan - reason: Great backup tank with Shield, Good damage with Double Strike.
- Third position: Drybone Raider - reason: Double Strike, Shatter.
- Fourth position: Dhampir Stalker - reason: Good ranged damage, True Strike.
- Fifth position: Lira the Dark - reason: Fast, Swiftness, nice opportunity hunter.
- Sixth position: Runic Skyclaw - reason: Fast and Flying so good sneak protection, good damage with snipe.
The Battle:

Round 1: Well the Chain Golem died very fast, so maybe bringing Uriel as a backup tank wasn't a bad idea after all, nice start for my team but Chwala won't survive next round, which is ok...

Round 2: Wow Chwala ALMOST survived, Uriel got killed very fast too and Chwala dodged an attack on him, four monsters left to kill, and the Drybone Raider is almost gone too, the Evangelist too so this will be easy now.

Round 3: I was just too late with hitting the pause button for my screenshot - it would be nice if the battle could be scrolled trough like a movie, for blogging purposes or when you want to see what exactly happened and you don't want to watch the entire fight again.
Anyway, not a chance for the other team, it's a win!
