Hello, everyone.

As technology continues to evolve, so does the web. The web evolved from web 1.0 to web 2.0 and now we are looking at web 3.0. From the looks of things, web 3.0 has come to stay. The features and benefits of using Web 3.0 outweigh those of Web 1.0 and Web 2.0. There is no doubt Web 3.0 is likely to change our lives for the better.
For me, I'd say Web 3.0 is a more intelligent and quick-witted form of the web. It is said to be a semantic web because of its features. It is believed that Web 3.0 will provide users with an amazing level of personal web proficiency.
Confidentiality: On Web 3.0, users' identities are kept private. On the contrary, Web 2.0 finds it difficult to keep users' identities confidential. They ask users to verify their accounts using an identity card. Web 3.0 will never ask a user to post their identity card.
A user is not forced to share whatever they do not wish to share on the web 3.0, unlike the web 2.0.
Decentralized Nature: The decentralized nature of web 3.0 makes it stand out amongst other webs. Every user loves freedom. Web 2.0 does not offer us freedom like web 3.0. Looking at how social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram restrict users, giving them little or no control over their accounts. Who wouldn't choose Web 3.0, where a user enjoys full control and ownership of their account.
Reward: Many of us are users of social media platforms. These social media platforms operate on web 2.0. Posting on a Web 2.0 platform only means enriching the company in charge of the platform. It's nothing new that the Web 2.0 platforms only reward a few people.
On the contrary, Web 3.0 is here to reward all. For example, the hive platform, where every user is rewarded for the content they create.
Visibility: Another advantage of web 3.0 is that nothing is kept secret. It is built on a blockchain, so every transaction is recorded on the blockchain, which makes it visible to everyone. No user can lie about a transaction because he/she knows that their transactions from years back can still be traced.
In a nutshell, Web 1.0 offered us an avenue where users could consume content without interaction. It further evolved to Web 2.0, which offered us the opportunity to post and consume content, interact with one another, and also reward a few.
Today we are looking at Web 3.0, which offers us the opportunity to post, consume content, interact with one another, and most of all, rewards every user.
