Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog. As a human being, from the moment you are born or from the moment you draw your first breath, you have started your journey towards your final destination (death), but the question that keeps running through my mind is why are we even given birth if we are just going to die in the end? What are we even here for? What is our purpose on earth?
There are days when I wake up and just stare at my ceiling, wondering why we are really here, doing the same thing over and over again. Every day you wake up to go to work or class, just rinse and repeat. No matter how tired you are from the previous day's work, you just have to show up again. Then I ask myself, is that why we are here? To just keep doing the rinse and repeat stuff until the day we die? But then my uncle will always say we are just passers by and the earth does not belong to anyone, whether rich or poor. No one will be here forever, so while you are here, make the most of it.
From my uncle's saying, I was able to deduce a thing or two, and that is exactly how I have been living my life. From his saying, I was able to find something I can call purpose. I can say that our purpose here is to make an impact, leave a legacy, one that will live on even after we are gone. Making the most of life while you are here should not be all about you, it also means carrying people who your path cross with along, ensuring that whoever crosses path with you is impacted positively, ensure that you are remembered for good and not for bad.
Also, people coming into your life and leaving a print is also because they are passers by; a passer by will not stay forever, but how they are remembered is by the type of print they leave.
We also enter people's lives and then end up leaving in the end, but are the prints we left good, or will the prints traumatize them whenever they see them? Or remember it? As passers by, the type of prints we leave should matter a lot to us. If you did not care about it before now, then I think it is time you start working on the type of prints you leave in someone's life. We are passers by, but each and every one of us must work towards making positive impacts on the lives of those who cross our path as we journey through life.
