Hello!
My name is Simon Jerome and I'm also known as Dr Muze. I am a Nigerian student studying Political Science at Federal University of Lafia, Nasarawa State, Nigeria. Other than being a student, I am diversely talented so I engage in quite a number of activities which I'll share below.
Before everything I am right now and aspiring to be, I remember that I am just a kid who could draw but had the ultimate dream of playing professional football. However, the circumstances surrounding it at the grassroot made it seem like nightmare and I couldn't put all my eggs in one basket so I diversified into other things.
During my High school days, I stayed with a relative where I learnt photography and even though I stopped in 2013, I took it up almost a decade later in a new niche which is basic mobile phone photography of grassroot sports. This have made me a seasoned grassroot sports journalist an the foremost promoter of grassroot sports especially football in my environment.
After high school in 2014, I decided to learn barbing skills and had indulged in it for the past decade now. As a matter of fact, it has been my source of livelihood.
Oh I also paint!
I mean, interior and exterior painting. Although I do this time after time because of my gross engagement with customers who want their hairs cut. This tight engagement is what has denied me the chance to develop my drawing skills and other activities I would want to explore.
I'm not sure i have a recent photo of myself painting so I'll skip but here's a progress shot of one of my old drawings
More interestingly, I am an all round entertainer.
I make music. I also direct, shoot and edit promotional videos and contents. In addition, I create skits that promote societal values and discourage social vices such as drug abuse.
Overall, I am open to learning new things because I still feel a lot of my potentials are untapped. I am also interested in meeting new friends, sharing experiences and opportunities so finding out about Hive is more like a relief. I heard about the platform through a close friend @coderaikiri who introduced me to @ovey10 who has coached in through classes on how to engage in Hive and I cannot wait to go through the adventure, the tasks and all the fun there is. I learnt quite a lot from the class, from introduction and understanding of Web3, how it works and some of its features which includes crypto currency/block chains and most importantly, Hive block chain. From introduction and understanding how it works to navigating and maximizing the platform by engagements, networking and creating unique and interestingly crafted contents which do not breach the rules.
From the handful I have learnt about Hive, I am taking it as an opportunity to take criticism and learn from wide range of individuals and improve my strength in various abilities.
