It's been a long time since I'm playing this mind-blowing adventure and you must heard "Mountain Shrine" from the very beginning but I was yet to set foot on that Mountain Shrine. I guess its time to do that but will the mountain welcome me or what?
After clearing some poisons around the village, I decided to get to the Mountain Shrine after all so I ran directly to the barrier where I'd need the mask of Toshi which I already got from the old man.
After using the mask, the barrier got opened for me and I started running ahead, towards the Mountain Shrine, without knowing what might be waiting for me there.
I noticed some poisons and scenes on both sides of the stairs but I just ignored them intentionally.
When I passed the last gate there and set foot on part of the mountain, I noticed it was frozen cold and the whole atmosphere changed right after I set foot there, I even noticed some creepy music as well but I kept moving forward.
On my way, I noticed a hanging bridge ahead and when I reached this part, it felt impossible to get to the other side as there was a waterfall going down and that platform was too high for me.
I even died there trying to get on the height once.
When I was thinking I may have to look for an alternative way that I didn't find after looking around, I tried again and I successfully climbed there and then I was passing the hanging bridge thinking, I may have problem passing this but nothing that sorts happened.
Then I reached a space that looked like a big hall room and I could use the mask of Toshi to know a part of his story and none of us knew a lot of things would change after trying this.
Seeing the memory of Toshi was not like seeing the others, even the rots started to disappear when Kena used the mask.
The memory showed me a glimpse where I understood Toshi was angry and he had control over the beast that Adira saw flying around the mountain before the explosion.
It seemed like Toshi was connected to the explosion and at a point, Kena took off the mask and threw it away as she couldn't take it anymore and there came the spirit of Toshi.
It looks like I know him. Oh yeah, he's the one tried to stop me at the beginning of my journey. I even forgot about him.
Toshi asked Kena what she truly seek as he understood Kena was hiding something. Kena tried to fight him but he had great power and he said he know Kena's true intent and that she doesn't care for these spirits but only serve herself.
Saying she can't hide her weakness from him, Toshi attacked Kena with his magical stick and it looked like Kena was drowning.
Then Kena found herself in the spirit realm where both of us could see hundreds of spirits going somewhere.
There was a little girl carrying a stick similar to Kena's and was looking for her dad. It looked like that's Kena as a kid. When Kena went to her kid-self, the kid asked her help in finding her dad and Kena said they'd look together.
Then the little one gave the stick to Kena saying her day won't be able to get back without it and something happened which disappeared the kid and Kena did something that pulled her out of that realm, to the Mask Shrine.
