Hey guys. Even though I've been very quiet again over the last few days, things are moving forward for me and I wanted to share them with you. I will also tell you about the new CCD:ATX Diesel Pool... in a next posting... However...
I'm in the process of renting a place that I can use for my business activities. The place will essentially serve two purposes.
On the one hand, I will work on my digital stuff there during the day. At the weekend, I will play music there in the evening and offer a few drinks. That might sound like a wild combination, but it makes sense for me. On the one hand, it gives me a dedicated workspace, away from my own home, where I can work in a more undisturbed and focused way. But also a physical place where I could place an assistant. Furthermore, having my own space would give me an opportunity to express my musical urges - which I would then also stream on the internet. Some of you already know that I'm on the road as a DJ at the weekend to finance my work on @CryptoCompany
The location is very central on one of the main roads here in town, at ground level and close to one of the biggest weekend gathering points for young adults here in town; the bus station is also only about 100 meters away.
I need to measure the space again in detail. But to give you an idea, I'll give the size as 5 meters wide and about 20 meters long. Something like that. The entrance consists of a glass front with a door in the middle. There is also a toilet room at the end of the premises, plus a covered terrace in front of the location. Not overly large, but appropriate for my purpose and budget.
I haven't yet decided on all the details of how I'm going to furnish the place. In terms of design, the bar/lounge aspect will probably be decisive. But the furnishings in every detail are actually secondary to me for now. What is primarily important is that I implement my digital workplace. Of course, I will implement this aspect from the outset in such a way that it is compatible with the additional purpose of the space - but as I said, the most important thing is that I can carry out my digital work undisturbed.
To be a little more specific about the design aspect: apart from my lighting system, which I have set up as a DJ and is of course to be regarded as “direct light”, I am thinking about indirect lighting, realized by LED strips, which I would like to install behind panels. The panels would then be mounted on the wall or ceiling. I might also use my 3D printer to add some structure to the wall - I have created large, multi-layered, multi-colored and illuminated company signs in the past. And a few hexagonal panels could definitely be a nice structure breaker. I will visualize this again in the 3D program.
Here in Paraguay, metal is actually cheaper than wood. So I'll have to visualize in my 3D program what I cover with wood or metal and how I color it.
After I went to the city council yesterday to find out what I need to do, I have a meeting with my tax consultant tomorrow or Tuesday, who then has to organize a few things for me.
What I'm thinking about, of course, is that even though Hive is hardly (or almost not) widespread here in Paraguay, it would be a good idea to integrate HIVE/HBD as a way of payment. After all, digital solutions already exist and I personally am Hivian enough to promote Hive. Let's see how this could be implemented or promoted.

Hey Leute. Auch wenn ich die letzten Tage wieder sehr schweigsam war: bei mir entwickeln sich die Dinge und ich wollte sie mit euch teilen. Vom neuen CCD:ATX Diesel Pool werde ich euch ebenfalls mal berichten... in einem nächsten Posting... Wie dem auch sei...
Ich bin im Prozess mir einen Ort anzumieten, welchen ich für meine Businesstätigkeiten nutzen kann. Der Ort wird im Kern zwei Dingen dienen.
Einerseits werde ich dort tagsüber an meinen digitalen Dingen arbeiten. Am Wochenende werde ich dort Abends Musik spielen und ein paar Getränke anbieten. Das klingt jetzt eventuell wie eine wilde Kombination, macht für mich aber Sinn. Damit habe ich einerseits einen dedizierten Arbeitsplatz, weg von der eigenen Wohnung, um dort ungestörter und fokussierter arbeiten zu können. Aber auch einen physischen Ort, wo ich eine Hilfskraft platzieren könnte. Weiterhin habe ich mit einer eigenen Räumlichkeit eine Möglichkeit, meinem musikalischen Drang Ausdruck zu verleihen - was ich dann zugleich auch im Internet streamen würde. Manche von euch wissen ja bereits, das ich am Wochenende als DJ unterwegs bin, um meine Arbeit an @CryptoCompany finanzieren zu können
Die Räumlichkeit ist sehr zentral an einer der Hauptverkehrsstraßen hier im Ort, ebenerdig und nah an einem der größten Versammlungspunkt am Wochenende für junge Erwachsene hier im Ort; der Busbahnhof ist ebenfalls nur rund 100 Meter entfernt.
Ich muss die Räumlichkeit nochmal konkret ausmessen. Damit Ihr euch aber eine Vorstellung machen könnt, benenne ich die Größe jetzt mal so mit 5 Meter breit, etwa 20 Meter lang. So ungefähr. Die Eingangsseite besteht aus einer Glasfront, in welcher mittig die Tür eingelassen ist. Hinzu kommt noch ein Toilettenraum am Ende der Räumlichkeit, plus einer überdachten Terrasse vor der Lokalität. Nicht übermäßig groß, aber meinem Zweck und Budget aktuell angemessen.
Wie ich den Ort einrichte, ist mir noch nicht in allen Details klar. Designtechnisch wird wohl der Aspekt der Bar/Lounge maßgeblich. Aber die Einrichtung in allen Details ist mir tatsächlich erstmal sekundär. Primär ist wichtig, das ich meinen digitalen Arbeitsplatz umsetze. Natürlich werde ich diesen Aspekt von Anfang an so umsetzen, dass er mit dem zusätzlichen Verwendungszweck der Räumlichkeit vereinbar ist - aber wie gesagt: am wichtigsten ist erstmal, das ich meine digitale Arbeit ungestört umsetzen kann.
Um beim Designaspekt aber etwas konkreter zu werden: abseits meiner Beleuchtungsanlage, welche ich mir als DJ angelegt habe und natürlich als "direktes Licht" anzusehen ist, denke ich an indirekte Beleuchtung, realisiert durch LED-Streifen, welche ich hinter Panellen anbringen möchte. Die Panelle dann wiederum an die Wand bzw. die Decke. Eventuell nutze ich aber auch meinen 3D-Drucker, um etwas Struktur an die Wand zu bringen - ich habe in Vergangenheit durchaus große, mehrschichtige, mehrfarbige und beleuchtete Firmenschilder umgesetzt. Und ein paar hexagonale Panels könnten durchaus eine netter Strukturbrecher sein. Das werde ich mir im 3D-Programm nochmal visualisieren.
Hier in Paraguay ist Metall tatsächlich günstiger als Holz. Was ich also mit Holz oder Metall verkleide bzw. was ich davon wie koloriere, das muss ich mir dann nochmal in meinem 3D-Programm visualisieren.
Nachdem ich gestern bei der Stadtverwaltung war, um mich über die Notwendigkeiten zu informieren, habe ich morgen bzw. am Dienstag ein Treffen mit meinem Steuerberater, welcher mir sodann ein paar Dinge organisieren muss.
Welchen Gedanken ich natürlich habe: auch wenn hier in Paraguay Hive kaum (oder beinahe nicht) verbreitet ist, wäre es durchaus auch eine Idee, HIVE/HBD als Zahlungsmittel zu integrieren. Immerhin wären digitale Lösungen dafür durchaus bereits vorhanden und ich persönlich Hivian genug, um Hive voranzutreiben. Schauen wir mal, wie sich dies umsetzen bzw. bewerben ließe.
