A new part from your favorite series “Since when is this my favorite series and what is it all about?”! And because many people haven't asked for it (but I knew you were longing for it inside), today the topic that has never been asked for before: “Stand out from the crowd!”

Ein neuer Teil aus deiner Lieblingsserie "Seit wann ist das meine Lieblingsserie und um was geht es hier überhaupt?"! Und weil es sich viele nicht gewünscht haben (ich aber wusste, das ihr innerlich danach verlangt), heute das noch nie nachgefragte Thema: "Hebe dich von der Masse ab!"

At the weekend, I gave my best performance again. (How did I make this mental leap in the raw post version? And the first sentences up to here sounds more like I was drinking at the weekend... I don't mind... stays in.) And let's make a note of that for the purposes of this article:

Denn ich garantiere dir: am Ende macht dir alles Sinn und du wirst dich fühlen, als hätte Buddha im Chinarestaurant persönlich zu dir gesprochen! (Stehen bei dir im Chinarestaurant auch immer diese dicken Buddhas rum?) (Boah... als ich die Rohversion dieses Artikels geschrieben habe, muss noch Restalkohol im Körper gewesen sein...)

Am Wochenende habe ich nämlich wieder Höchstleistung gegeben. (Wie bin ich in der Rohversion auf diesen Gedankensprung geschafft? Und eher lesen sich die ersten Sätze bis hier als ob ich am Wochenende eher gesoffen hätte...Egal... bleibt drin.) Und das notieren wir uns jetzt auch mal im Sinne dieses Artikels:

1. Maximum Performance

Nothing usually comes from nothing. Do your best! And if you think you've done your best, rest assured: “There's always a Chinese person who is younger and can do better.” Now it's not necessarily about comparing yourself with others - but with yesterday's you.

But you shouldn't necessarily try to squeeze everything out of yourself at every moment. We'll get to that later: things are in a process of evolution! Yesterday I wrote a good script, today I had an idea and improved it. I was already okay with it yesterday (you have to allow yourself that!), but today I'm even better with it. And because I know that I'm constantly improving my things, I don't have the pressure of having to squeeze every last bit out of it. And although I don't have to, I know that I'm doing my best.

1. Höchstleistung

Von nichts kommt meistens auch nichts. Gebe dein Bestes! Und wenn du glaubst, du hast dein Bestes gegeben, sei Dir sicher: "Es gibt immer einen Chinesen, der jünger ist und es besser kann." Jetzt geht es nicht unbedingt darum, sich mit Anderen zu verglichen - aber gerne mit deinem gestrigen Ich.

Aber ebenfalls musst du nicht unbedingt versuchen in jedem Moment alles aus dir herauszupressen. Darauf kommen wir später noch: Dinge sind in einem Evolutionsprozess! Gestern habe ich einen guten Script geschrieben, heute hatte ich eine Idee und habe ihn verbessert. Ich war schon gestern okay damit (das muss man sich auch erlauben!), aber heute bin ich noch besser damit. Und weil ich weiß, das ich meine Dinge stetig verbessere, muss ich auch nicht den Druck haben in jedem Jetzt auch das letzte Quentchen herauspressen zu müssen. Und obwohl ich das nicht muss, weiß ich: ich gebe mein Bestes.

2. Humor

... is another factor, but it can't be forced. But if you already have a sense of humor by nature, then use this potential! Why not? Of course, you can always write dryly; but if you have a humorous charm, then work with it!

... ist ein weiterer Faktor, lässt sich aber nicht erzwingen. Aber wenn du schon von Mutter Natur aus irgendwie einen an der Pfanne hast, dann nutze dieses Potenzial! Warum denn nicht? Natürlich kannst du immer trocken runterschrieben; aber wenn du einen humorvollen Charme hast, dann arbeite doch damit!

3. Uniqueness

Yeah, no, I didn't go to one of those weird inclusive schools - they didn't want me there. But if I'd been 20 back then, I wouldn't have wanted them either. It wasn't like that. That's probably why I became the weird type: an individualist, unique. Why adapt? The world is so much better off! Imagine how awesome the world would be if everyone could express their individual strengths and aspects? And by that I also mean in your publications. And there we have the next point:

3. Einzigartigkeit

Ja, nee, ich bin nicht auf so eine komisch inklusive Schule gegangen - die wollten mich da nicht. Wäre ich damals aber schon 20 gewesen, hätte ich die auch nicht gewollt. War alles nicht so. Deswegen ist aus mir wahrscheinlich auch der komische Typ geworden: ein Individualist, einzigartig. Warum adaptieren? Die Welt ist so viel besser dran! Stell dir mal vor wie geil die Welt wäre, wenn ein Jeder seine individuellen Stärken und Aspekt auslassen würde? Und damit meine ich eben auch in deinen Publikationen. Und da haben wir den nächsten Punkt:

4. Self-Confidence

You have to stand by what you do. Otherwise it would be artificial. And yes, if you are aware of yourself, your strengths - but also your weaknesses, then you can also laugh at yourself and sometimes criticize yourself. That takes a lot of the wind out of the sails of potential attackers. Imagine saying something like this in a confrontational situation: “Diggi, I'm fully aware that I have a shadow, but I didn't expect you to be able to top that so blatantly.”

Be aware of yourself! Not just your strengths, but also your weaknesses.

Weaknesses - I'll come back to that briefly:

It's not about fighting all your weaknesses, by the way. If you have real weaknesses that are holding you back, then try to compensate for them - so that they no longer hold you back. Whether through your own efforts or by using aids. But in the end, it makes much more sense to invest time in strengthening your strengths rather than bringing your weaknesses to a “normal level”.

I would like to conclude this point metaphorically: there are fish and birds. You don't need to try to teach one of them to fly. And the others are not necessarily the best swimmers. You can acknowledge that. You just have to find out what you are and develop your skills accordingly.

4. Selbstbewusstsein

Du musst schon zu dem stehen, was du machst. Anders wäre es aufgesetzt. Und ja, wenn du dir deiner selbst bewusst bist, deiner Stärken - aber auch deiner Schwächen, dann kannst du auch selbst über dich lachen und dich mal selbst ankreiden. Das nimmt potenziellen Angreifern schon eine Menge Wind aus den Segeln. Stell dir mal vor, du sagst in einer konfrontativen Situation etwas wie: "Diggi, mir ist vollkommen klar, das ich 'nen Schatten habe, aber ich hätte jetzt nicht erwartet, das du das so krass toppen kannst."

Sei dir deiner bewusst! Aber nicht nur deiner Stärken, aber auch deiner Schwächen.

Schwächen - darauf will ich nochmal kurz eingehen:

Es geht im übrigen nicht darum, all deine Schwächen zu bekämpfen. Wenn du wirkliche Schwächen hast, die dich behindern, dann versuche diese zu kompensieren - damit sie sie dich nicht länger behindern. Ob durch Eigenleistung oder durch Hilfsmittel. Aber am Ende ist es viel sinnvoller, Zeit zu investieren, um deine Stärken zu stärken, statt deine Schwächen auf ein "Normal-Level" zu bringen.

Ich möchte diesen Punkt metaphorisch abschließen: es gibt Fische und Vögel. Den Einen brauchst du nicht versuchen, das Fliegen anzueignen. Und die Anderen sind nicht unbedingt die besten Schwimmer. Das kann man anerkennen. Du musst nur herausfinden, was du bist und dem entsprechend deine Fähigkeiten ausbauen.

5. Bravery

I have carried 4 sentences inside me for half my life. One of them is “The world belongs to the brave!” Do you understand? If Columbus had discovered Egypt in 1432, wouldn't he have been brave? From my life, really from practice:

We can all jump over streams. Some people see a stream crossing the path, take a quick step and jump across without thinking about it. And even if your heel ends up in the water... Who has ever died from a wet heel? Others are totally blocked inside, prance around in front of the stream and don't dare. Or end up so cramped and blocked inside that they don't manage to jump over the stream dry in the end. Some walk back and never discover the world that lies beyond the stream.

5. Mut

4 Sätze trage ich seit meinem halben Leben in mir. Einer davon ist "Den Mutigen gehört die Welt!" Verstehst du? Hätte Kolumbus im Jahre 1432 Ägypten entdeckt, wäre er nicht mutig gewesen? Mal aus meinem Leben, wirklich aus der Praxis:

Wir können alle über Bäche springen. Manche sehen einen Bach, der den Weg quert, machen einen schnellen Schritt und springen hinüber ohne darüber nachzudenken. Und auch wenn die Ferse noch im Wasser landet... Wer ist schon an einer nassen Ferse gestorben? Andere blockieren innerlich total, tänzeln vor dem Bach herum und trauen sich nicht. Oder sind am Ende innerlich so verkrampft und blockiert, dass sie es am Ende nicht schaffen, trocken über den Bach zu springen. Manche laufen zurück und entdecken nie die Welt, die hinter dem Bach liegt.

6. Be Friendly

I don't have to talk about it... I still have a saying in my head from my youth in Germany: “If you want to f##k, you have to be friendly.” Or do you think you'll go down well if you're a grump who spreads negative vibes?

Muss ich auch nicht drüber reden... Aus meiner Jugendzeit in Deutschland habe ich noch einen Spruch im Kopf: "Wer fi##en will, muss freundlich sein." Oder glaubst du, du kommst gut an, wenn du ein Muffel bist, der negative Vibes verbreitet?

7. Be Provocative

Please don't misunderstand! You're not supposed to be a punk who disrespectfully bumps into other people or spits around. It's much more about provoking and evoking things. If you say in a YouTube video that you can still remember how you were taught in school that Columbus discovered Egypt in 1432, then what's going to happen? You've triggered so many people that your comments section and ultimately your metrics will benefit.

Another example? Take a look at my covers. The movement in them stands out, evokes attention. The content of the images is no less effective: it provokes behavior and reaction.

“Being provocative” is often understood as “breaking the rules”, is associated with “exaggeration”. And yes, provocative behavior does not always meet with approval. But if you provoke in the right dose, if you trigger things, you will make bigger waves than behavior that goes unnoticed and is lost in the crowd.

7. Sei provokant

Bitte nicht missverstehen! Du sollst jetzt kein Punk werden, der respektlos andere Leute anrempelt oder durch die Gegend spuckt. Viel mehr geht es darum, Dinge zu provozieren, hervorzurufen. Wenn du in einem YouTube Video sagst, das du dich noch daran erinnern kannst, wie dir in der Schule beigebracht wurde, dass Kolumbus 1432 Ägypten entdeckt hat, dann wird was passieren? Du hast so viele Leute getriggert, dass deine Kommentarsektion und letztlich deine Metriken davon profitieren werden.

Noch ein Beispiel? Schau mal meine Titelbilder. Die Bewegung darin hebt sich ab, provoziert Aufmerksamkeit. Der Inhalt der Bilder wirkt nicht weniger: er provoziert Verhalten und Reaktion.

"Provokant sein" wird oft verstanden als "regelverletzend", wird assoziiert mit "Übertreibung". Und ja, provozierendes Verhalten stößt nicht immer auf Gegenliebe. Aber wenn in der richtigen Dosis provoziert, Dinge hervorruft, der wird damit größere Wellen schlagen, als ein nicht wahrzunehmendes, in der Masse untergehendes Verhalten.

8. Market Your Thing

I was unsure whether to use “marketing” or “selling” in the title. In general, many people can't differentiate between the two unless they are actively made to think about the differences. And think about why “sell” would not be the right word. Either way, look at it this way:

For whatever reason and whatever: you want to “sell” something. Be it your information offering, your poetry, your product; what you or your “marketing object” is. And yes, this also includes your possibly simple text - why else would you publish it? Probably for others, so that it reaches as many readers as possible. Or at least all those you want to reach with it.

We have already talked about various things such as “exceptionality”, ‘provocation’ and “uniqueness” earlier in the text. All of these things, such as those just mentioned, can help your marketing, but are not marketing in themselves. They can make you say ‘he markets “well”’ or “badly”. Either way:

You have to drive the targeted process of marketing it (you don't have to do anything!...). You can have the coolest product - but if you don't market it, if you don't “get it on the road”, then you have a great product, but it still won't reach the people it should or could reach. And I assume that you agree with me when I say: it would be a shame, wouldn't it? Or why did you go to the trouble of creating it?

8. Vermarkte deine Sache

Ich war mir unsicher, ob ich den Titel mit "vermarkte" oder "verkaufe" ausstatte. Landläufig können das viele Leute nicht differenzieren, wenn sie nicht aktiv dazu gebracht werden, über die Unterschiede mal aktiv nachzudenken. Und denke gerne mal nach, warum "verkaufen" nicht das richtige Wort wäre. Egal wie, siehe es mal so:

Egal aus welchem Grund und was: du willst etwas "an den Mann bringen". Sei es dein Informationsangebot, deine Lyrik, dein Produkt; das, was du oder dein "Vermarktungsgegenstand" ist. Und ja, dazu gehört auch dein eventuell simpler Text - warum sonnst veröffentlichst du ihn? Wahrscheinlich für Andere, damit er möglichst viele Leser erreicht. Oder zumindest all Jene, welche du damit erreichen willst.

Wir haben weiter oben im Text bereits über verschiedene Dinge wie "Außergewöhnlichkeit", "Provokation", "Einzigartigkeit" gesprochen. All dies wie die beispielsweise eben genannten können deiner Vermarktung helfen, sind aber an sich noch noch keine Vermarktung. Sie können dafür sorgen, das man sagt 'er vermarktet "gut"' oder "schlecht". Egal wie:

Den gezielten Prozess seiner Vermarktung musst du (du musst gar nichts!...) gezielt vorantreiben. Du kannst das geilste Produkt haben - wenn du es aber nicht vermarktest, es "auf die Straße bringst", dann hast du zwar ein geiles Produkt, es erreicht aber trotzdem nicht die Menschen, die es erreichen soll oder könnte. Und ich gehe davon aus, das du mir zustimmst, wenn ich sage: wäre schade drum, oder? Oder warum hast du dir den Aufwand der Erstellung gemacht?

9. Use the commentrewarder

Scroll through your feed (on Peakd.com - I'm not sure if all hive interfaces show this): only a vanishingly small fraction use #commentrewarder. Why? Because you lose 3.5 or 10% rewards? Nonsense.

My point of view: With commentrewarder you win! Use commentrewarder constantly and you will get returning readers and Hivians interacting with you. Thinking you lose something by giving away three or five percent of your rewards reminds me of people who can't distinguish losses from investment spending. Of people who think promotion is at the bottom of the bill a cost.

9. Nutze den commentrewarder

Scrolle mal durch deinen Feed (auf Peakd.com - ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob alle Hive Interfaces dies anzeigen): nur ein verschwindet kleiner Bruchteil nutzt #commentrewarder. Warum? Weil man 3,5 oder 10% Rewards verliert? Quatsch.

Mein Standpunkt: Mit commentrewarder gewinnst du! Nutze commentrewarder konstant und du wirst wiederkehrende Leser und Hivians erhalten, welche mit dir interagieren. Zu glauben, man verliert etwas durch das vergeben von drei oder fünf Prozent der Rewards erinnert mich an Menschen, die Verluste nicht von Investitionsausgaben unterscheiden können. An Menschen, die glauben, Promotion sei am Ende der Rechnung ein Kostenfaktor.

10. Answer and Engage in Dialogs

How do you build social relationships? Do I have to explain anything? There are enough authors who don't care about their supporters and commentators. Missed potential in my opinion. Especially if you use the commentrewarder - but also if you don't use it. With comments, you can not only create loyalty, but also added value for your readers.

10. Antworte und führe Dialoge

Wie baut man soziale Beziehungen auf? Muss ich irgendwas erklären? Es gibt genug Autoren, welche sich nicht um ihren Unterstützer und Kommentatoren kümmern. Meiner Meinung nach verpasstes Potenzial. Insbesondere wenn du den commentrewarder nutzt - aber auch, wenn du darauf verzichtest. Mit Kommentaren kannst du aber nicht nur Bindung schaffen, sondern auch einen weiteren Mehrwert für deine Leser.

11. Do it!

Yes, and what's stopping you now? What's stopping you from gradually improving your content and interactions? TikTok and Netflix? (Which consequently means: “yourself?”)

"If you want something, you find ways. If you don't want something, you find reasons."

You just have to be aware and act accordingly: the road to success on Hive is not a sprint, but a marathon. Don't expect 10, 20, 50% more “whatever” next week - but you can realistically plan for time X and strive to work on it.

Things will develop anyway if you constantly reflect on yourself and your work and if you give yourself the space to develop. An action that you are happy with today can make you realize tomorrow “I still have potential here”. Even if it's only 1 or 2 percent - take it with you.

All of these small fulfilled potentials add up, complement each other and in some cases create synergy. Action A supports action B or C. At some point, you create D and suddenly this contributes to another point, possibly boosting it to an unexpected extent. Suddenly A performs like a champion - but when you created A, you didn't even think about D or even rejected the idea behind D.

The previous paragraph doesn't sound like the execution of a plan. I'm not arguing against plans; we should all conceptualize plans. But part of the truth of life is:

"There are so many variables in the universe... That tomorrow will be exactly what you expect or hope for... It doesn't always happen. Despite all the plans and planning."

Further:

“Life is what happens while you plan something else.”

The most important thing is:

Go your own way! Be on the move! Avoid standing still. Look at currents and fit into them as harmoniously as possible. Look: I think it's obvious that I've already walked a small part of my hive path. In all modesty: CryptoCompany didn't pop up out of nowhere. My postings on PowerPaul were also different once. The HTU below that too. I also had 20 followers once. I also made mistakes, took a wrong turn and had to go back, had to fight my way up steep paths - possibly in vain.

Making mistakes is part of it! My piano teacher always said:

“If you're not making errors during practicing, you're not practicing properly.”

Do you think I haven't discovered new things along the way, even to this day? Found a new vehicle, better fuel, better shoes, strengthening companions or better sunglasses so as not to be blinded?

Did I know the way when I started this journey? No. You don't have to. If you're traveling from X to Y, you don't need to know the entire route by heart. New signs and clues will appear. The important thing is that you put one step in front of the other. Ideally on your path.

But I would like to say a word about standing still:

Standing still is not always standing still. The maturing process that takes place during a resting phase is not always obvious. I don't want to declare “standstill” and its possible effects as something “uncertain” or imperceptible at first. Processes, including maturation, need initiators. Wine, beer and cheese do not mature because they are just resting. But because there are things that initiate and enable these maturing processes. And then it is also a good idea to support these processes in peace - or with certain activities. However, the basis of maturation has always been: “Nothing comes from nothing.”

A day or a week of “downtime” does not necessarily have to be bad. Standstill can also develop a sense of calm; a balance that every high achiever needs to a certain extent. However, everything must always be in your own individual balance. Successful action also involves looking at this balance, these processes and regulations from the outside. Because if you are in balance, then you can be what this article is about: the ability to achieve extraordinary things.

I wish that for you. You and we deserve it, even have a right to it! We just have to realize it.

11. Mach!

Ja und was hindert dich jetzt? Was hindert dich daran, deine Inhalte und Interaktionen nach und nach zu verbessern? TikTok und Netflix? (Was folglich meint: "du selbst?")

"Wer etwas will, findet Wege. Wer etwas nicht will, findet Gründe."

Du musst dir nur bewusst sein und entsprechend agieren: der Weg des Erfolges auf Hive ist kein Sprint, sondern ein Marathon. Erwarte nicht 10, 20, 50% mehr "was auch immer" nächste Woche - aber du kannst es für Zeitpunkt X realistisch planen und anstreben, daran arbeiten.

Dinge entwickeln sich eh, wenn du dich und dein Werk konstant reflektierst und wenn du den Raum gibst, zur Entwicklung. Bei einer Aktion mit der du heute zufrieden bist, kann dir morgen auffallen "Hier habe ich noch Potenzial". Und seien es auch nur 1, 2 Prozent - nimm diese mit.

All diese kleinen erfüllten Potenziale summieren sich, ergänzen sich, lassen teilweise Synergy entstehen. Aktion A unterstützt Aktion B oder C. Irgendwann erstellst du noch D und auf einmal trägt dies zu einem anderen Punkt bei, boostet diesen eventuell in einem nicht erahnten Ausmaß. Auf einmal performt A wie ein Champion - dabei hast du, als du A erstellt hast, noch nicht einmal an D gedacht oder die Idee hinter D sogar abgelehnt.

Der vorherige Absatz klingt nicht wie die Vollführung eines Plans. Ich will nicht gegen Pläne sprechen; wir alle sollten Pläne konzeptionieren. Zur Wahrheit des Lebens gehärt aber auch:

"Es gibt so viele Variablen im Universum... Das morgen genau das eintritt, was du erwartest oder erhoffst... Das passiert nicht immer. Trotz aller Pläne und Planungen."

Weiterhin:

"Das Leben ist was passiert, während du etwas anderes planst."

Das Wichtigste ist:

Gehe deinen Weg! Sei in Bewegung! Vermeide Stillstand. Betrachte Strümungen und füge dich möglichst harmonisch in diese ein. Schau mal: es ist, so glaube ich, offensichtlich, dass ich schon ein kleines Stück meines Hive-Weges gegangen bin. In aller Bescheidenheit: CryptoCompany ist nicht aus dem Nichts aufgeploppt. Auch meine Postings auf PowerPaul waren auch mal anders. Die HTU darunter auch. Ich hatte auch mal 20 Follower. Ich habe auch Fehler gemacht, bin mal falsch abgebogen und musste zurück, musste mich steile Wege hochkämpfen - eventuell auch umsonst.

Fehler machen gehört dazu! Mein Klavierlehrer hat immer gesagt:

"Wer sich nicht verspielt, der übt nicht richtig."

Glaubst du, ich habe nicht auch auf dem Weg neue Dinge entdeckt, bis heute? Ein neues Vehikel gefunden, besseren Treibstoff, bessere Schuhe, stärkende Begleiter oder eine bessere Sonnenbrille, um nicht geblendet zu werden?

Als ich diesen Weg begonnen habe, habe ich den Weg gekannt? Nein. Das muss man auch nicht. Wenn du von X nach Y reist, musst du nicht den kompletten Weg auswendig kennen. Neue Schilder und Hinweise werden auftauchen. Wichtig ist nur, dass du einen Schritt vor den anderen setzt. Im Idealfall auf deinem Weg.

Ein Wort will ich aber noch zum Stillstand verlieren:

Stillstand ist nicht immer Stillstand. Der Reifeprozess, welcher sich in einer Ruhephase abspielt, ist nicht immer unbedingt ersichtlich. Damit will ich "Stillstand" und eine eventuelle Wirkung dessen nicht als etwas "ungewisses" oder im ersten Moment nicht wahrnehmbar deklarieren. Prozesse, also auch Reifung, braucht Initiatoren. Denn wenn du im Gleichgewicht bist, dann kannst du das sein, das leisten, um was es hier in diesem Artikel geht: das Vermögen, außergewöhnliches zu erreichen.
