We all have a perfect Destiny whether we like it or not, Mathematics is perfect because the Universe is calculated to be perfect, in all your life unique events have happened that will not be repeated except in the past of your memory to remember them, in your future await events that the Universe as Father and Mother of all that exists and will exist already declared that they would happen and although you do not believe it one of those variables that has shaped your path, everything around you, your family, your friends and your life in a unique way has been Gravity.
Our Universe is a Documentary series from Netflix that through its six episodes tries to make everyone understand how the Universe works explaining the different variables necessary for life, in this review I will only focus on the sixth episode dedicated to Gravity.
Todos tenemos un Destino perfecto nos agrade o no, la Matemática es perfecta porque el Universo esta calculado para ser perfecto, en toda tu vida han sucedido eventos únicos que no se repetirán excepto en el pasado de tu memoria para recordarlos, en tu futuro esperan sucesos que el Universo como Padre y Madre de todo lo que existe y existirá ya declaro que sucederían y aunque no lo creas una de esas variables que ha moldeado tu trayectoria, todo lo que te rodea, tu familia, tus amigos y tu vida de una única manera ha sido La Gravedad.
Our Universe es una serie Documental de Netflix que a través de sus seis episodios trata de hacer entender para todo público el como funciona el Universo explicando las distintas variables necesarias para la vida, en esta Reseña solo me enfocare en el sexto episodio dedicado a La Gravedad
- Didactic structure so that everyone can understand gravity:
The episode poses an explanation that relates in great part metaphorically speaking to The Gravity with some Penguins, as everything that this animal achieves in its ecosystem by eating, protecting itself from the cold, choosing a partner and being parents is designed this way since before our planet Earth existed being The Gravity the silent protagonist of this achievement.
I am an engineer and I scraped many physics exams that explained complex equations that included gravity, so I know with property that physics and mathematics are not for everyone, it is not the best pedagogical approach that everyone can easily digest.
For this reason, I give great value to the episode because it explains Gravity so that a child or anyone can understand it as a concept and not only that because it raises it as a variable that contributed in the Universe to shape everything we have in life, these Penguins are an example so that the idea is extrapolated to all beings living on Earth including us humans.
- Estructura Didáctica para que Todos puedan entender La Gravedad:
El episodio plantea una explicación que relaciona en gran parte metafóricamente hablando a La Gravedad con unos Pingüinos, como todo lo que logra este animal en su ecosistema al comer, protegerse del frío, elegir pareja y el ser padres esta diseñado así desde antes que existiera nuestro planeta Tierra siendo La Gravedad el protagonista silencioso de este logro.
Soy Ingeniero y vaya que raspe muchos exámenes de física que explicaban ecuaciones complejas que incluían a la gravedad, entonces se con propiedad que la física y las matemáticas no son para todos, no es el mejor enfoque pedagógico que todos puedan digerir fácilmente
Por esto, le doy gran valor al episodio porque explica a La Gravedad para que un niño o cualquiera la pueda entender como concepto y no solo eso ya que la plantea como una variable que contribuyo en el Universo para moldear todo lo que tenemos en la vida, estos Pingüinos son un ejemplo para que la idea se extrapole a todos los seres que vivimos en La Tierra incluidos nosotros los seres humanos.
- Morgan Freeman is The Narrator:
This actor known to many who have seen him in various films we know that he can convey a certain aura of knowledge or knowing and he totally convinces when he performs those roles, with this in mind he is a Narrator of power because his slow voice allows the complex idea he wants to convey the episode can reach the audience in a solid way.
The Documentary is designed for 7 years and older so the narrator's way of speaking has to be delicate so that a child can understand it and I think it succeeds because there are moments when the Penguins do funny things and that awakens who is watching the series to keep a certain degree of attention in the moments of complexity and analogy that is wanted to explain between Gravity and Life on Earth.
- Morgan Freeman es El Narrador:
Este actor conocido por muchos que le han visto en variados films sabemos que puede transmitir cierta aura de conocimiento o de saber y convence totalmente cuando realiza esos papeles, con esto en mente es un Narrador de poder porque su voz lenta permite que la idea compleja que quiere transmitir el episodio pueda llegar a la audiencia de manera solida.
El Documental esta diseñado para mayores de 7 años entonces el modo de hablar del narrador tiene que ser delicado para que un niño lo pueda comprender y pienso lo logra porque hay momentos en que los Pingüinos hacen cosas jocosas y eso despierta a quien esta viendo la serie para que mantenga cierto grado de atención en los momentos de complejidad y analogía que se quiere explicar entre La Gravedad y La Vida en La Tierra.
- Special Effects:
This is a solid positive point of the episode plus the touch of imagination of those who design the special effects that in my case as I have studied for decades theoretical concepts of the Universe and being an Engineering graduate I know the mathematics behind them, I know that they took certain creative liberties that I consider acceptable and added for viewer impact and wow they achieve it because they left me hallucinating, in fact it is an episode that I want to see again.
- Details to Criticize of the Episode:
Let's remember that explaining the Universe is trying to teach things that exist long before us, then the detail of this is that solid references are not there, what there is is hypothesis, in my case I know the theories that are raised as the fact that Planet Earth had at some point in its history a younger brother BUT they lack to indicate these elements that are theories in small letters so to speak in the documentary.
We were not there at the beginning of time, we were not there when the sun was born and we were not there when the Earth was born, so for the moment what is proposed are only hypotheses and that should be highlighted because there is still no 100% absolute and undeniable evidence of how things happened, now what is useful is that the function of Gravity is kept coherent in the narrative of the episode, in that we scientists are in agreement.
I dedicate each and every one of my posts and videos to my little dog named princess, we called her chiquito, she is no longer with us but from heaven she will see that her existence was valuable and the most beautiful thing that will exist in my heart and soul.
- Efectos Especiales:
Esto es un punto solido positivo del episodio plus el toque de imaginación de quienes diseñan los efectos especiales que en mi caso como he estudiado desde hace décadas conceptos teóricos del Universo y por estar graduado de Ingeniería conozco la matemática detrás de ellos, se que se tomaron ciertas libertades creativas que considero aceptables y agregadas para impacto del espectador y vaya que lo logran porque a mi me dejaron alucinando, de hecho es un episodio que quiero volver a ver.
- Detalles a Criticar del Episodio:
Recordemos que explicar el Universo es tratar de enseñar cosas que existen desde mucho antes de nosotros, entonces el detalle de esto es que solidas referencias no hay, lo que hay es hipótesis, en mi caso conozco las teorías que se plantean como el hecho de que El Planeta Tierra tuviera en algún momentos de su historia un hermano menor PERO les falta indicar estos elementos que son teorías en letras pequeñas por decirlo así en el documental.
No estuvimos en el inicio de los tiempos, no estuvimos cuando nació el sol y no estuvimos cuando nació La Tierra entonces de momento lo que se plantea son solo hipótesis y eso se debe resaltar porque aun no hay evidencias 100% absolutas e innegables de como sucedieron las cosas, ahora lo que si es útil es que la función de La Gravedad se mantiene coherente en la narrativa del episodio, en eso estamos de cuerdo los científicos.
