Mercedes-Benz, model 190SL W121, release of 1958. Exactly at this spot I listened to an interesting lecture about the hard labour and specifics of pre-war cars restoration.

People were happy to touch their history (and take a lot of cool pictures and selfies, of course). And in general, everyone was tired of sitting at home, and were just happy to go out for a walk at least somewhere.

Volga (GAZ) is a widespread vintage Soviet limousine from the 1960s.

Soviet retro car "Zaporozhets" ZAZ 968A, release of 1979 - in fact, this machine is younger than me, haha!

I regretted that I did not have a polarizing filter at my disposal. My bad.

... so, you might have seen it too, in the films about 1910-1930-es.

Very curious pre-war car 'Delaunay Belleville' (1914) - this replica was actually assembled in 2005 by the Russian film company LENFILM for film production needs. It took part in more than 30 films (it also was rented out to foreign film companies!).

Opel 4.20 PS cabriolet-limousine, release of 1926.

Some cars were for sale, some were offered for further restoration "as is"; most served as promotional models that small service workshops used to boast about the quality of their work.
Greetings! Today I will show you some beautiful cars - photos from my digital archive.
I'm not a car enthusiast (I'm rather a cyclist), but I try not to miss the annual car show at St. Petersburg. It's always a lot of fun and interesting visuals. Unfortunately, in the covid situation, the expo business was put on hold for a while. By 2021, covid restrictions have been eased, we have already learned to live with it without fear (well, more or less).
In April 2021, the exhibition took place again, this time it was held in an even more luxurious format - adding a retro part to the modern examples of the automotive industry. I liked the exposition so much that I visited the exhibition 2 times (I came two days in a row). I carried different lenses with me - photography requires sacrifice... Most of the photos were taken with Sigma 50mm, Canon 16-35mm lenses, and some were taken with fisheye Zenitar 16mm lens.
