The post is dedicated to all #hivecats - as you remember, every Saturday is Caturday! This time it happened to me in full. I spent the day outside the city: an old friend of mine invited me to celebrate his birthday, we set a little company to visit the city of Zelenogorsk (thats the place where he spent his teen years). By the way, I've never been there. It's a small seaside resort town in an hour's drive north to St.Petersburg... but that's not what we're talking about today. ;)
We didn’t take a walk around the city, specifically exploring its nooks and crannies - but took a quick straightforward walk to the seaside, in Jarmusch-style... but even that fast walk showed that the town is quite cat-o-licious... to me, thats a great sign that the city dwellers are ok, the place is good.
I share with you all the cats that did not escape my camera today; but the rest of the photos (ducks, seagulls, and many, many cobblestones decorating the tide line) - will follow in a separate post... someday... 10gb and 400 pics I took need some serious efforts to shape into a decent report.
This pair were the first cats I met; they inexplicably materialized out of thin air right before my eyes - they climbed out to bask in the sun. Yes, the appearance of cats means that spring has finally arrived and warm weather has arrived.
The tricolor black-white-red cat was unusually beautiful and trusting. Let me come at a hands distance. He has very gentle eyes and soul, do you see?
These probably were someone's pets - stray cats don't have the habit of letting strangers come close.
This black cat was basking on a tree branch. No, no, she wasn’t lying in wait for the carefree sparrows, don’t think so. There are no more carefree sparrows - they all lost the evolutionary competition and are already extinct.
And the last one - probably my fave, cause, firstly, I pretty rarely see cats like this - the name of the breed is 'Sphinx', they are purebred domestic aristocratic cats, you cant encounter them randomly at the street. And secondly... look at her expressive face for yourself, and maybe you agree with me. I did about six takes (paparazzi style; didn’t dare to approach the cat owner and offer to take a portrait of his pet). I’ll show all of them another time.
