When it comes to investment, there are some powerful strategies that people follow but compounding is a strategy that is powerful and if followed with discipline then we can achieve a great result. As we know that SIP is a great way to invest in assets because this way can be in any price range and here also discipline is very important and I have been doing the same for the last 2 years. I started my SIP investment in crypto when the lockdown was implemented for the first time in March 2020. I am very happy with my SIP investment in crypto and my average buy is too low if I look at my overall holding I make sure that there is enough balance in my wallet so my daily buy gets executed without issue.
This morning I was a post by @lbi-token and it is about saving in HBD and they also shared a calculation which is impressive. We just need to maintain discipline and keep on saving HBD on weekly basis. The calculation shown on the post is for 50 HBD which is kind of a little high for me but I think that I can go for 25 HBD on weekly basis. Thanks to the LBI team for sharing this nice post and I am sure it will benefit many people to learn and realize the power and potential of compounding as I did.
Compounding saving is just the opposite of DCA (SIP) in crypto. With saving we will need to save a certain amount on a fixed interval and in SIP we need to invest a certain amount on a fixed interval if both are followed for the long term then we can achieve great results in long term. I have started my HDB saving effectively today with 25 HBD on weekly basis. Here I am sharing a snapshot and I was trying to find a way to make it automated but I think this option is not available as of now however this would be good if we have the option to automate the transfer using peakd or hive blog.
With this deposit, my balance in savings is 227 HBD and I will deposit 25 HBD every weekend (most probably on Sunday) so there would be an addition of 100 HBD on monthly basis. This is the earning that I receive through content creation with a 50/50 reward split. I could have gone with 50 HBD as well but since I also invest in splinterlands assets so I don't want to disturb that.
Here on the hive platform, I have been following an earning and re-invest strategy and I have invested a lot in splinterlands assets. I grow my HP as well as I use liquid earnings to re-invest in various crypto assets. It's time for me to build something big and I have been doing the same for the last 2 years and will continue to do so because I believe in crypto. To be honest I don't know what value in terms of $$ I will be able to accumulate but for sure this is going to be decent my goal is for the year 2025 so there are 3 more years and during this period, things will evolve more in crypto space.
