Splintershards (SPS) price has been staying stagnant for the last couple of days. It has not been making any sort of moves even though there has been some hype about the game which are on going. The current market price of SPS is hovering around $0.0073 in external/internal market. It has been going sideways for couple of days and the volume has been plummeting since mid of May. We will also look into DEC as it has been seeing some volatility due to its recent surge of usages and hopefully we will be able to see it reaches its pegged value like it was suppose to.
Unlike SPS, DEC has been showing some support in the current region of its price. Which is probably a good sign given the fact that it has lost its value exactly 10%. The reason I am saying its a good sign because being a stable coin and after witnessing so many ups and downs of DEC over the years, DEC staying at this price is indeed a good thing. DEC has shown strong upside potential, whenever SPlinterlands has delivered some important updates regarding the game. DEC has broken records multiple times in the past of reaching its pegged value, whenever something amazing arrived in the universe of Splinterlands.
So I would say, DEC could be a very volatile token during remote times but it has the full potential of giving some positive returns whenever Splinterlands is getting prepared to deliver something amazing in its upcoming days. So better stack up some DEC and just hold onto them while the price appreciates in value.
Did You Notice?
This is where things starts to get interesting. Did you notice the stats which usually displays in the bar of SPS? The statistics out in here is comparatively amazing. The circulating supply of SPS is 1,465,141,587, while the staked SPS is about 981,883,015 and the funny thing is the total liquid SPS 483,258,572 which we have, is almost half of the staked SPS in the game. This literally crazy. Players, investors are staking the token rather than keeping them liquid in their accounts. This is indeed an amazing belief which is the team has provided for the community.
I do strongly believe, if and any good news regarding SPS, could eventually turn the game of SPS upside down. As this could literally trigger the flywheel and we will get to see what we all want to see for SPS. It is to rise in value and appreciate the price that it was suppose to be.
SPS getting listed in Tier1 CEX could trigger that flywheel. This could be a very good and perfect time to make things happen and get to witness the phenomenon that we all have been waiting for years. Also not to forget we are probably going through a golden time in the history of crypto. BTC reaching its ATH and breaking all those records and slapping in those cheeks, who were saying all sorts of bubble and sh**s about the entire crypto world. I suppose this has shown how decentralization and unique concept of digital currency can change the POV of our thoughts.
SPS will thrive if and only people outside of its current zone knows about it. Lets be honest, Splinterlands has survived the winter season of crypto, it has thrive and I admit it was on the verge of meltdown but come on, the comeback of Splinterlands has been one of those amazing ones among the crypto gaming communities. It was as if, Phoenix rising from the ashes. Now it is getting ready to reach much higher than it previously was.
Keep on playing the game and keep on stacking your favorite coins/tokens. As we might be going for a wild ride since the overall crypto market is going through a very good phase and we might be joining the party soon. Till than hang onto your coins and just keep building your portfolio!
