This is something I do not do either, because, assuming, I let go of motivation, that means, I am left empty, as I will not be able to nailed the stuffs i want. So you too, do not let motivation be away from you.
Have this in mind, if at anytime, you do not feel like doing something, meanwhile, deep down, you really know how much you have needed that thing to be done, best to do, is to take a deep breathe, and say to yourself, "today, I am going to nailed this stuff that I needed", it is how i do, when i am feeling unmotivated. And the deal is, it does help me so much in sending in the courage, I was lacking, and so, I will find myself onto that activities.
My friend just stopped talking to me on phone. The deal is, he wanted to visit his farm today, but on reaching this morning, he was so not feeling like going to the farm again, yet, deep down, he knows if he can't go there today, it might not be so good to the growth of the plants, as his growing plants needs weeding, and so, he can from there check on the yam that he realizes were not coming up in good style, and so replace them.
I really understood him, because this is something I am battling with sometimes, so, I didn't want to jump around the bush, than letting out the truth about it, and that was by bringing up the idea that, he needs to build up courage, and go to the farm to do the needful.
To me, I saw that feelings that went to him as a temptation, and it was what I told him, to not allow the temptation to win over his already design plan.
Personally, when it comes to planned, once I have carved it, i do make sure I follow it up, I do not let it out for any reason, because, once I do not follow it up, it will still be there undone.
You see why people that does exercises can not feel like not doing a thing they have set out in a day?, that is because, they are already into building of their physical self, and those muscles as well, help them mentally and psychological, and it all works for good.
What next is that, as they get out to lift those dumbbell, it communicate to them, if they can do that which they are doing, they can as well be able to do other stuffs, without relenting.
Back then when I see people that dedicate times for gym, maybe, after work they will visit the gym, i used to think it was the fact that they were rich people, yet, exercises of any kind is something we all needs.
Nevertheless, it doesn't means untill we got register in the gym, is when we can exercise, we can as well make those tool's ourself at the comfort of our homes, I have someone that makes his dumbbell, and other training tools, back then, I used to go do exercises in his place.
