pass them down the generations thinking they are the holy scriptures of some advanced, past race.
It reminds me of Will Self's 'The Book of Dave', where the rantings of a bitter London cabbie is buried and years later is unearthed in a post Flood London and becomes the basis for a misogynistic society where they follow his words as sacred scripture.
This book is always one I've wanted to read because it's always on THE LIST of post ap books. I've just never got around to it and would probably find it hard work. Reviews like this is probably as far as I'd get. Love the image of the buzzards though.
