Greetings, Splinterlands summoners. This could be the post that ends the daily chest reward opening mode in Splinterlands because the new mode that rewards glints for battles is already in effect. There are benefits and drawbacks to this new mode. But for this session, I'll talk about my performance from the previous season.

In season 117, I only played modern mode. However, beginning with season 118, I tried two modes: modern and wild.
In modern mode, I only managed to get Silver III with a rating of 1240. This result improves on the previous season's rating of 1090. Meanwhile, my win ratio has increased from 0.83 to 0.93.
This is not a bad way to end the adventure of opening Splinterlands daily chests.
Meanwhile, in wild mode, I began climbing on the lower level. It appears that in glint mode, I will try to determine which of the two existing battle modes is the best.

Receiving a card at the end of the season is extremely encouraging. I experienced significant improvement. Previously, in season 117, I received only 56 cards. Season 118 increased immediately to 95 cards.

Meanwhile, SPS has increased from 38,193 to 76,384 SPS.
When glints are implemented, it appears that the previously annoying potion rewards will become more useful in the new mode.

Then, during the card rental reporting, I noticed increased expenses. But it is comparable to the results I obtained. I spent 1059,302 DEC out of 487,766 DEC in season 117.
However, the card I rented began to provide better performance in my fights. We will wait for the results later.

And, according to SPS reporting, I only received 140,276 SPS in the 117th season and 200,236 SPS in the 118th season.
As can be seen, SPS will only be obtained through combat. Unlike before, we can obtain prizes from chests.
