Today being the 4th I wanna update you guys about my Leo token progress.
So far so good I will say. I’ve been able to get the amount of Leo I will like to power up for this month and gathering Leo for the next month is already in progress.
In my Leo goals for 2023, I stated that I want to power up at least 170 Leo every month. If I am to stick to this figure very well then I can make my goal of 2.5k Leo for 2023.
So let’s see how I was able to accumulate my Leo for the first month.
Curation rewards
This is probably where I get a little of my Leo from because of the little Leo I have powered up. I have about 564 Leo power and a 100% of this value gives me less than 0.1 Leo as curation on a single post. So this is probably very little. If I was able to get up to 0.1 Leo peer post curated then I will probably be raking in a good amount of Leo as curation.
For now, the amount of Leo I got from curation sums up to 10.8 so far. I hope by the 15th of this month I can get that number up to 11 and add it to the amount of Leo I wanna stake.
Buying Leo with post rewards
This is where a good amount of my Leo has been coming from so far. About 90 percent of the Leo that I’ve used in my Leo power-up have been gotten using my post rewards to buy back Leo and power-up.
So this time around I used about 29 hives to buy Leo. This gave me about 173 Leo which is a good amount for this month.
After buying for this month I’ve already started to accumulate for next month. If everything goes according to plan then I can get up to the 30 hives that I need for next month. How I wish I could get that amount very quickly.
Making posts In Leo finance
One other spectacular way to get Leo is by posting in the Leo finance community. So far so good I have about 2 posts in the community. I promised myself that I will make at least 4 posts a week so I think the progress is good. If I make this post that will be 3 posts and then I need to add one making it 4.
Making posts in Leo finance is something I find a little difficult with the amount of things I have done. But hopefully, I can keep up with this number.
Market buys
This is where I get my Leo from. Some people can get a good amount of Leo from curation so the amount of Leo they buy is small for power-ups. With the amount I earn from curation, it’s only reasonable that I will need to get a huge chunk of Leo from the market.
For now, I only use my earning from posts to place market buys. I think about the last two months I placed an order with money from somewhere else but since then all have been from my earnings on hive.
For now, the aim is to get a huge amount from my market buys then when I maybe start getting a substantial amount from curation the amount of market buys will reduce.
So this has been the progress so far. Let’s wait for lpud so that we can power up some Leo. The first month is not always difficult to do. It’s always what follows that’s difficult. I hope the following months treat me better.
