Conclave arcana is almost here. To be more specific it’s T-1/2 days to conclave arcana. What are you make excited about? Last week, I spoke about conclave arcana and how it is set to change how we play spl. I in particular is not very happy with how fast this has come.
Ever since I started playing spl this is the second set of cards release that I am experiencing and well the first was a good one. One of the reasons being i had funds to get my hands on a few packs. The other reason being most of the cards delegated to me were chaos legion cards which is still in modern but will be pivoted out in a few weeks.
I don’t have funds to get my hands on a few packs now but let’s see how it goes. For now I might just have to go into wild which I don’t like very move. Yes, I understand that wild is easier to play as compared to modern but at times I feel like wild can be pretty unpredictable. I say this because you can literally face any card there without thinking it’ll happen. With modern you know it’s only two set of card types and that’s what you’ll expect to face.
With conclave arcana comes new features and new abilities to the cards. One of the things that I am most happy about is the return of conflicts. Conflicts were a thing when the recent rebellion cards were released. This was a way to put your rebellion cards and packs to work. This time round it’s back and you can get conclave arcana cards by putting your conclave arcana and rebellion packs on the mage wagon.
One of the features that I think I am most excited about is the painforge. There are a few reasons why I like this ability. One of them being the name and the other being its ability.
It goes a +1 power when damaged by poison or burning or hit by an ally. What this means is that when a card with this feature receives damage from a card with poison or burning then the card gets a +1 power. So if that particular card has 3 magic then it’ll be increased to 4 each time this happens.
Well with the intro of conclave arcana my plans will change drastically. I say this cause if I do pivot into wild then it means I’ll earn less and less sps per win until something changes.
