Hello friends of Hive, welcome to a new post, I hope you are doing well.
It's been a long time since I posted something in my profile because well, school always finds a way to make time not to give up, this week I'm free because of the holy week and because the term ended a few days ago, so I'll take some time to show you what I've been doing.
Today I want to share with you my drawing with which I will participate in the weekly art contest of the Splinterlands community.
Yesterday I decided to practice my drawing in digital after a long time, so I dedicated myself to make a quick drawing.
I used Nectar Queen's card as a reference, she's an earth type character. I really think she's a cute bee, that's why I decided to make her in a human form, it would be fun to combine elements of a bee to a muscular body.
To start with I used a perspective pose, I quite liked the crossed arms movement, it gives it an air of authority and power.
I used yellow for the bee's body, for the eyes I used a navy blue color, for the wings I used a light grayish pink, for the belt I used a slightly dark pink color, for the pants I used a color something like a dark reddish brown, for the shoes I used a very dark purple.
For the shadows of the character I took the base color and toned it down making it a little more opaque and darker.
I was tracing brush strokes with the triangle airbrush with an opacity of 40%.
And then I used the blender tool with the 40% trapsoid airbrush to better blend the tones of the volume in the shadows of the character.
And to finish I used a comic template taken from Ibis Paint, which I think gives a good composition with the colors of the character and the background.

Hola amigos de Hive, bienvenidos a un nuevo post, espero que se encuentren bastante bien.
Tenía mucho tiempo que no volvía a publicar algo en mi perfil porque bueno, la escuela siempre encuentra una manera de hacer que el tiempo no me rinda, esta semana estoy libre por la semana santa y porque el lapso termino hace unos días, así que tomaré un poco de tiempo para mostrarles lo que he estado haciendo.
El día de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi dibujo con el cual participaré en el concurso de arte semanal de la comunidad de Splinterlands.
Ayer decidí prácticar mi dibujo en digital después de mucho tiempo, así que me dediqué a hacer un dibujo rápido.
Usé como referencia la carta de Néctar Queen, es un personaje de tipo tierra. Realmente creo que es una abeja muy bonita, por eso decidí hacerla con una forma humana, sería divertido combinar elementos de una abeja a un cuerpo musculoso.
Para empezar usé una pose en perspectiva, me gustó bastante el movimiento de los brazos cruzados, le da un aire de autoridad y de poder.
Usé el color amarillo para el cuerpo de la abeja, para los ojos usé un color azul marino, para las alas usé un rosa grisáceo claro, para el cinturón usé un color rosado un poco oscuro, para los pantalones usé un color algo como un marrón rojizo oscuro, para los zapatos usé un morado muy oscuro.
Para las sombras del personaje agarraba el color base y bajaba su tono llevándolo a que fuese algo más opaco y oscuro.
Iba trazando pinceladas con el aerógrafo de triángulo con una opacidad de 40%.
Y después usaba la herramienta de difuminador con el aerógrafo trapsoide 40% para mezclar mejor los tonos del volumen en las sombras del personaje.
Y para terminar usé una plantilla de cómic sacada del mismísimo Ibis Paint, que me parece le da una buena composición con los colores del personaje y el fondo.
