This battle comes with a 25 mana cap where the active rulesets are Heavy Hitters, Close Range and the featured ruleset for this week which was Maneuvers. With this in consideration, my lineup was consist of:
Summoner: Grandmaster Rathe - A Life Summoner that not only gives +1 armor on all ally units but also gives the Void Armor which makes magic not pierce armor and Amplify to increase reflected damage by +1.
1st Position: Dumacke Orc - A 6- mana melee monster with only 1 health but has 8 armor together with Shield which reduce damage from melee and range damage while it also have Retaliate which allows it to attack melee monsters that attack it and Thorns that will reflect -2 damage when a melee monster attack this card.
2nd Position: Venator Kinjo - A 2- mana melee monster with Reflection Shield which makes it immune to reflect and indirect damage while being hidden from direct attacks due to Camouflage. It also has Immunity which makes this card not affected by debuffs together with Slow that reduces the speed of all opponent units and Amplify.
3rd Position: Sould Fiend - A 0- mana melee monster with Swiftness that increases the speed of all ally units by +1.
4th Position: Time Mage - A 4- mana magic unit which also have Slow and Rust which reduce the armor of all opponent units.
5th Position: Adelade Brightwing - A 7- mana magic unit that has Flying which increases its evasion chance by 25% while it also has Repair which restores the armor of an ally monster and Resurrect which revive one ally monster that was defeated. It also has Immunity and Swiftness.

Battle Recap
Here is a replay of the battle which at you can watch at Splinterlands.
Did My Strategy Work?
As melee monsters were given the Reach ability by the Manuevers ruleset, chances are they will use a melee monster that can inflict heavy damage and if that was the case, we can protect our team by using monsters with either Shield or Forcefield to reduce the overall damage that we can receive and at the same time, counter their attacks by using monster with Thorns and Retaliate which happens to be abilities that my primary tank possess and allows me to win the battle and it was a more satisfying victory, winning against the game CEO.
That was it for this post. Thank you and see you at the next one.
