It seems to me that if my regular subscribers start reading this post, they will immediately understand what I will be writing about today. This is a hobby that came into my life a few years ago and I try to develop it every day. So, my hobby is photography and today I will tell my story about it.
Where did it all begin?
Of course, it all started with the fact that I had a smartphone with a camera. Then I just took silly photos of everything I saw. Today I look at old shots and understand that they do not carry any artistic value. Well, for me for sure. It's all about the events of my life and they are valuable only as a memory.
Although no, it all started with a film camera when I was about 10 years old. Unfortunately, I don't have all the photos with me now because they are in my hometown and I can't show them. But I remember my first experiment. While with relatives in another city, I was able to create a photo where my grandmother seem to be holding in their hands, my sister and brother.
How did I improve my skills?
Three years ago, I started writing articles on photography thematic for one site. And there, of course, were articles on how to shoot in different genres, as well as different rules on how to build a frame. Well, that's when I started to improve my skills. After all, when you write on a topic, you automatically remember this information.
And given how long I worked in this field, my theoretical knowledge became much better. And, of course, I started using them in real life. Today I photograph almost everything I see interesting. I select a variety of original angles and look for interesting shots for the best photo.
Why do I like it?
I like to do this because I can remember absolutely everything. Starting from natural phenomena, architecture and ending with portrait photography of completely different people. I like that I can share with other people how I see this world.
It is most pleasant when your photos are evaluated by professionals in this field. This has happened to me several times and it's incredibly nice.
What do I need to pursue my hobby?
In order to pursue my hobby, I need a smartphone and my own imagination. After all, a cool shot can be created, even at home. However, I feel that today I can make better shots if I have better equipment. And this is exactly what I plan to achieve in the near future. However, I'm still thinking about whether to buy a smartphone with the best features or try my hand at professional cameras.
I'm sad that I can't take quality shots in poor lighting. Well, my smartphone can't give a cool shot at the same time.
Does my hobby bring me extra income?
So far, I can only boast that I use my own photos on my blog and to some extent they bring me income. In the future, I plan to create photos in order to sell them in photo stocks. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. But I will try.
