The first step is to create the sketch and then the lineart, as usual for this step we use 3 different layers.
El primer paso es crear el boceto y posteriormente el lineart, como es costumbre para este paso usamos 3 capas diferentes.
Apply the base color, use colors very similar to those of the reference.
Aplicamos el color base, use colores muy similares a los de la referencia
We start the details from the background, for this we apply a moon followed by trees without leaves, I think they give a dark touch.
We also applied some small bats with a new brush.
Once the background is ready, we continue with the skin of the character, for this step we apply soft colors using the airbrush and then we retouch them with a more solid brush.
to finish the skin we apply strong lights and shadows, in some parts of the skin the light is separated by a thin line of saturated color. i think this detail looks nice.
Empezamos los detalles desde el fondo, para ello aplicamos una luna seguido de arboles sin hojas, creo que le dan un toque tenebroso.
También aplicamos unos pequeños murciélagos con un pincel nuevo.
una vez listo el fondo, seguimos con la piel del personaje, para este paso aplicamos colores suaves usando el aerógrafo y luego los retocamos con un pincel mas solido.
para terminal la piel aplicamos luces y sombras fuertes, en algunas partes de la piel la luz esta separada por una delgada linea de color saturado. creo que este detalle queda bonito.
We continue with the details in the hair and other parts of the character until we get to my favorite part, the pumpkin full of candy.
And I couldn't avoid adding sweets typical of my country, as I knew that this was going to take me more time, I decided to make a base in grayscale and then apply a new layer with the multiply effect.
Seguimos con los detalles en el cabello y demás partes del personaje hasta que llegamos a mi parte favorita, la calabaza llena de dulces.
y no pude evitar agregar dulces típicos de mi pais, como sabia que esto me iba a tomar mas tiempo, decidí hacer una base en escala de grises y luego aplicar una nueva capa con el efecto multiplicar.
Finally we corrected the colors and added even more details in the background such as new trees.
Para finalizar corregimos los colores y agregamos aun mas detalles en el fondo como nuevos arboles.
