How is the beginning of the year?
I hope you are having a much better time than me.
For this week I have a special illustration for you, as you know since some time ago I'm humanizing more the splinterlands characters, I mean, I want to give them a kind of life outside the game.
I know what I'm saying right?
My favorite character Wood Nymph was sleeping during the vacations and now it's time to wake up and work. So here we go!

Que tal su inicio de año?
Espero lo estén pasando mucho mejor que yo.
Para esta semana les tengo una ilustración algo especial, como saben desde un tiempo estoy humanizando más a los personajes de splinterlands es decir, Les quiero dar una especie de vida fuera del juego.
¿Se entiendo lo que digo verdad?
Mi personaje favorito Wood Nymph estuvo durmiendo en las vacaciones y ya es momento de despertar y trabajar. Así que ahí vamos!

Process/Proceso
We start the illustration with the basic shape, for this we will use blue color and a brush of 60% hardness.
Then in a new layer we make the sketch with the same tools, add and correct all the details, this step takes some time until we are satisfied with the result.
Iniciamos la ilustración con la forma básica, para ello usaremos color azul y un pincel de dureza 60%.
Después en una nueva capa hacemos el boceto con las mismas herramientas, agregamos y corregimos todos los detalles, este paso toma algo de tiempo hasta estar conforme con el resultado
In a new layer and using black color we create the lineart, maybe I could save some time by skipping this step and coloring over the sketch, but I feel that thin and aesthetic lines are already part of my style.
En una nueva capa y usando color negro creamos el lineart, tal vez podría ahorrar algo de tiempo saltando este paso y coloreando sobre el boceto, pero siento que las líneas delgadas y estéticas son parte ya de mi estilo.
We apply the base color in different layers, we must take into account that we will have a strong light source behind so this influences a lot in the base color tone.
Aplicamos el color base en diferentes capas, debemos tener en cuenta que tendremos una fuente de luz fuerte detrás por lo que esto influye muchísimo en el tono de color base.
Once ready we will apply the shadows and highlights, for this I wanted to start from the background and the main light source.
Una vez listo aplicaremos las sombras y luces, para esto quise empezar desde el fondo y la fuente principal de luz.
I only need to apply details in the hair and the flower... I thought a lot if I should put it or not, I mean, who sleeps with a flower in her hair? let's say she fell asleep and that's it.
Ya solo falta aplicar detalles en el cabello y la flor... pense mucho si debía ponerla o no, es decir quien duerme con una flor en su cabello? digamos que se quedo dormida y ya
