Today I want to share with you a design and drawing I made for my homemade banana candy business.
Maybe in your countries they have another name but it is a variety of large bananas that can be made into candy, anyway I will make a post explaining that later, in this post I want to show you the creation of this character or mascot for the marketing of my product.
A long time ago I made a character inspired by an indigenous girl and I always wanted to draw her again, this added to the need to create a mascot for my product and a photo of a girl with this makeup that went viral, not long ago... were the breeding ground for this character.
The style would not be entirely chibi but I wanted to make something very adorable inspired by the indigenous girl, regarding the clothes was a problem because among so many variants that have indigenous peoples also taking into account that it should be a respectful design I thought it would be better to make something of my imagination that fills those requirements. so it is not considered to be a special tribe just a girl from the Amazon who loves sweets.
Possibly, when I have more sales I will make new designs and develop other ideas but for the moment it will only be her.
I am lucky to have the support of a friend who has a store where the product sells very fast so I do not want to miss the opportunity to offer it along with this character design that I love very much.
By the way, we are accepting payments in HBD and HIVE in the store. Each candy has a cost of about 0.50 bolivares which would be about 0.40 hbd approximately.

Hoy quiero compartirles un diseño y dibujo que hice para mi negocio casero de dulces de plátano.
Tal vez en sus paises tengan otro nombre pero es una variedad de plátanos grandes que se pueden hacer en dulce, en fin luego hare un post explicando eso, en este quiero mostrarles la creación de este personaje o mascota para el marketing de mi producto.
Hace mucho tiempo hice un personaje inspirado en una chica indígena y siempre quise volver a dibujarla, esto sumado a la necesidad de crear una mascota para mi producto y una foto de una chica con este maquillaje que se hizo viral, no hace mucho... fueron el caldo de cultivo para este personaje.
El estilo no seria del todo chibi pero si quería hacer algo muy adorable inspirado en la chica indígena, con respecto a la ropa fue un problema pues entre tantas variantes que tienen los pueblos indígenas tambien teniendo en cuenta que debe ser un diseño respetuoso creí que seria mejor hacer algo de mi imaginación que llene esos requisitos. por lo que no se considera que sea de una tribu en especial solo una chica del amazonas que ama los dulces.
Posiblemente, cuando tenga mas ventas haga nuevos diseños y desarrolle otras ideas pero de momento solo sera ella.
tengo la suerte de contar con el apoyo de un amigo que tiene una tienda donde el producto se vende muy rápido asi que no quiero perder la oportunidad de ofrecerlo junto a este diseño de personaje que me encanto muchísimo.
Por cierto, estamos aceptando pagos en HBD y HIVE en la tienda. Cada dulce tiene un costo de unos 0.50 bolívares que serían unos 0.40 hbd aproximadamente.

As a reference we have this girl " I don't know her name but she went viral not long ago in social networks for her beauty" from here I took her makeup, and I also leave a photo of the first candies I made, these are only the test version to see how they were in taste, the version for sale are more square.
Como referencia tenemos a esta chica " no se su nombre pero se hizo viral no hace mucho en redes sociales por su hermosura" de aqui tome le maquillaje, y tambien dejo una foto de los primeros dulces que hice, estos son solo la versión de prueba a ver que tal estaban de sabor, la versión de venta son mas cuadrados.
Process/Proceso
We make the basic shape a little chibi a little realistic "I'm not very good at drawing kids, but we'll give it a try" I want an extremely cute character.
I also wanted to highlight the product so I made it exaggeratedly big, I also thought about making it bitten, I still think it would be a good idea but I thought a full product view would be better for marketing.
I didn't get the brush I normally use on the chibis so I had to try 2 different types until I got something that looked nice as a lineart, this was the result.
Hacemos la forma básica un poco chibi un poco realista "no soy muy bueno dibujando niños, pero haremos el intento" quiero un personaje extremadamente tierno.
tambien quise resaltar el producto por lo que lo hice exageradamente grande, también pensé en hacerlo mordido, aun creo que fuera sido una buena idea pero pensé que una vista del producto completo sería mejor para el marketing.
No conseguí el pincel que normalmente uso en los chibis por lo que tuve que intentar con 2 tipos diferentes hasta conseguir algo que se viera bonito como lineart este fue el resultado.
Being a "simple" anime style does not require so much detail in the color, so we are doing the details with each layer of base color, this shortens the time but leaves details that you must correct later.
The colors of the clothes do not have a special origin, I feel that these tones go well with the type of character and the candy that we promote.
with respect to the candy I really liked the result I downloaded a "salt" brush because I could not find a sugar one hehe, and I modified the size, in this step if I wanted to give a lot of detail.
For the makeup I used the multiply effect. GOD! I really love how the character looks with his little eyes like this.
I also put some lines on the legs and arms because I feel they look nice.
Al ser un estilo anime "simple" no requiere tanto detalle en el color, por lo que vamos haciendo los detalles con cada capa de color base, esto acorta el tiempo pero deja detalles que debes corregir más adelante.
Los colores de la ropa no tienen un origen especial, siento que estos tonos van bien con el tipo de personaje y el dulce que promocionamos.
con respecto al dulce me gusto muchísimo el resultado descargue un pincel de " sal " es que no encontré uno de azúcar jeje, y le modifique el tamaño, en este paso si quise darle mucho detalle.
Para el maquillaje usé el efecto multiplicar. DIOS! en serio amo como se ve el personaje con sus ojitos asi.
tambien le puse unas lineas en las piernas y brazos porque siento que se ven bonitas.
This character is for use in advertising so it did not require a background, however to present it here we need a background even if it is simple, in the clipstudio page I downloaded a brush that leaves very nice candies that have a similar style to my drawing, also added on the character a black outline line to highlight it.
Este personaje es para usarlo en publicidad por lo que no requería un fondo, aun así para presentarlo aqui necesitamos un fondo así sea simple, en la página de clipstudio descargue un pincel que deja caramelos muy bonitos que tienen un estilo similar al de mi dibujo, tambien agregamos sobre el personaje una linea negra de contorno para resaltarlo.

I'm not used to draw with thick lines but it's always fun to vary a little bit the routine. I have other characters in mind but everything will depend on how the sale of the product evolves and the time I have to dedicate to it, I'm open to many creative ideas.

No acostumbro a dibujar con lineas gruesas pero siempre es muy divertido para variar un poquito la rutina. tengo pensado otros personajes pero todo dependerá de como evolucione la venta del producto y el tiempo que tenga para dedicarle, estoy abierto a muchas ideas creativas.
por el momento esto es todo los quiero invitar a mi siguiente post donde mostraré el proceso de elaboración del dulce, tal vez no lo conozcan o lo conozcan con un nombre diferente, es de mis favoritos un dulce tradicional venezolano que pese a todo aun se elabora.
